By booking an appointment with the Beauty Studio, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking.
1. Bookings & Appointments
• All appointments are subject to availability and are allocated specific time slots.
•Clients must book the correct treatment(s) for their appointment.
•Add-ons are not permitted on the day if they have not been booked in advance. Example: booking plain gel polish without booking removal of existing product.
• If insufficient time has been booked, the appointment may be refused or limited to the booked service only, and full charges may still apply.
2. Cancellations & No-Shows
• A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
•Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a charge of 50% of the treatment cost.
•No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will be charged 100% of the treatment price.
•Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
3. Downgraded or Partially Cancelled Treatments
•Treatments cancelled or downgraded at the appointment time will still be charged in full.
Example: booking nails and a bikini wax, then cancelling the bikini wax at the appointment — the full amount remains payable.
•This policy applies regardless of reason, as the time has been reserved exclusively for you.
4. Patch Tests
•Certain treatments require a mandatory patch test (e.g. lash treatments, brow tinting etc)
•Patch tests must be completed at least 24–48 hours before the appointment (as advised).
•Failure to attend or pass a required patch test will result in the treatment being refused, and cancellation charges may still apply.
•It is the client’s responsibility to ensure patch testing is completed in time.
5. Nail Services Policy
•I do not infill, repair, or remove work completed by another nail technician or salon.
• New clients must arrive with bare nails unless previously discussed.
Appointments will be refused if previous product is present and removal has not been booked, and full payment will still be charged.
6. Late Arrivals
•Please arrive on time for your appointment.
•Late arrival may result in a shortened treatment or cancellation if it affects subsequent bookings.
•Full charges will still apply if the treatment cannot be completed due to late arrival.
7. Health & Safety
•Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, or pregnancy prior to treatment.
•Treatments may be refused if it is deemed unsafe to proceed.
•No refunds will be issued for reactions where patch testing was declined or instructions were not followed.
8. Payments & Refunds
•All prices are correct at the time of booking.
•Payments are non-refundable once the service has been carried out.
•Refunds will not be given for dissatisfaction based on change of mind.
