Brow Lamination Aftercare

Aftercare is the most important part of a brow lamination treatment and it is your responsibility to take care of your brows following your lamination. It is imperative to follow this routine to maintain healthy, strong brows, failure to do so can cause damage including dry, brittle and snapping / brow loss. - Do not get your brows wet for 48 hours post treatment. This includes steam, hot showers or baths, sweating/gym use and swimming. - ‘Wet to Set’ once you can get your brows wet, brush them into shape whilst they are wet as they are easier to manipulate and will keep them smoother for longer. - Do not be tempted to brush down the hairs in the first 48 hours. Embrace a bolder brow whilst they settle in to their new position. - Apply a nourishing serum or oil to your brows twice a day to maintain moisture and healthy brows. - Use oil-based make up remover to gently remove any brow make up, wiping in the direction of your brow hairs, not against. - Do not use harsh, drying daily skin cleansers on the brow area and do not rub in circular motions, we want to keep those brow hairs settled in their new position. - Do not overbrush your hairs, over brushing as so to the hair on your head can cause damage and breakage. - Avoid using strong brow setting gels/glues as these can dry out your brows and will need excess rubbing to remove. Finally - please remember that a Brow Lamination is not a NO maintenance treatment. Failure to follow aftercare can cause serious damage to your brow health as this is a chemical treatment. Aftercare responsibility lies with you and failure to do so could result in future treatments being refused as the condition of your brow hairs is most important!
