Wash and dry feet daily. Avoid tight fitting shoes, allow feet to breathe. Use a foot powder if your feet sweat. Use a pumice for your feet after showering. Moisturise regularly. Drink plenty of water.
Be extra careful with nail enhancements. don’t use your nails as tools knocking your nails can damage or tear off your gel therefore do not do anything strenuous. Do not spend long periods of time in water. Wear gloves when gardening or washing dishes or doing housework. Use cuticle oil at least once per day. Do not remove enhancements alone book for a removal. Regular maintenance is required, book your follow-up appointment.
Ensure to shave 24 hours prior to tanning also exfoliate and moisturise. On the day of your tan, do not wear any deodorant or moisturiser or perfume. Let your tan set for 7 to 8 hours or for up to 4 hours with the rapid tan. Avoid touching your body during this time. Avoid wearing any tight clothing after tanning. Avoid any glycolic acid or AHA’s in your skin care as this can cause your tan to lighten faster. Once showered, use moisturiser daily to ensure longevity of tan. After approximately a week exfoliate to remove any tan residue.
Avoid touching the face, scratching or picking to prevent irritation or infection. Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water to flush out toxins and improve complexion. Use a gentle cleanser for the first two few days. Avoid retinal or acids for two weeks. Moisturise daily including SPF. Avoid exfoliation for one week post and prior to treatment. Avoid any heat treatments, including sauna, steam rooms or hot shower for the first 48 hours avoid irritation or sensitivity. Limit physical exercise for the first 48 hours. Eat a balanced healthy diet. Avoid make up for the first 24 hours. You may experience redness and sensitivity, this will subside within 24 hours. Breakouts may occur, this is the toxins being released from the skin and will be temporary. Avoid sunshine after a chemical peel. Book your next facial and follow home care for optimum results.
Ensure you drink plenty of water for the first 24 hours after your treatment, avoid caffeine and alcohol for the first 12 hours. Avoid any strenuous activity. Avoid any heat treatments including baths, sauna, steam room or sun beds for 48 hours. You may feel sore for the first 24 hours, this will pass.
Don’t allow your lashes to get wet within the first 24 hours. Wear an eye mask to sleep in. Be gentle with your lashes don’t rub or pull them. Don’t use any harsh products on eye area. Avoid saunas, pools and steam rooms for 24 hours. Avoid sun and creams after waxing for 24 hours.
