By accessing or using our website, booking an appointment, or receiving any treatment from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline your rights, responsibilities, and the conditions under which we provide our services.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website or book a service.
1. General Information
TrueOrigins Skin Clinic provides advanced skin treatments, facials, microneedling, chemical peels, and other non-surgical aesthetic services. All treatments are carried out by qualified practitioners with the appropriate training and insurance.
These Terms apply to all users of our website, clients of the clinic, and anyone booking services or purchasing products from us.
We reserve the right to update, amend, or replace any part of these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and will take effect immediately.
2. Eligibility for Treatment
To ensure your safety, all treatments are subject to:
- A full consultation
- Medical and lifestyle screening
- Practitioner approval based on suitability
We reserve the right to decline treatment if:
- You have a contraindication
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding (depending on the treatment)
- You provide incomplete or inaccurate medical information
- The practitioner decides the treatment is not appropriate for your skin or health
Your honesty in the consultation process is essential. You agree to inform us of any changes to your medical history before every appointment.
3. Booking & Booking Fees
All appointments require a non-refundable booking fee to secure your booking. The booking fee amount will be displayed at the time of booking.
Booking Fees:
- Are deducted from the final treatment price
- Are non-transferable unless you follow our rescheduling policy
- May be forfeited if you arrive unfit or unsuitable for treatment on the day (e.g., recent sun exposure, incorrect prep, active cold sores, recent injectables)
If you fail to provide accurate information at booking or consultation and treatment cannot be carried out, the booking fee will not be refunded.
4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
We understand that situations change, but our diary is carefully managed. You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 72 before your appointment.
Booking fees are non-refundable but fully transferable if at least 72 hours’ notice is given.
Cancellation within 72 hours of your appointment or no-shows:
- Will result in loss of your booking fee
- May incur an additional charge before future bookings can be made
- Repeated no-shows may lead to refusal of service
If you arrive late, we may not be able to complete the full treatment and the original treatment price will still apply.
If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will give as much notice as possible and offer an alternative date.
5. Prepaid Treatment Packages
TrueOrigins Skin Clinic offers discounted packages for pre-paid purchases of multiple (4) treatments.
Key conditions:
- Prepaid packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Packages must be used within 6 months.
Appointments under prepaid packages:
- Require 72 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
- Late cancellations or no-shows will result in forfeiture of that treatment from the package.
5. Treatment Expectations & Results
All treatments are performed using professional-grade products and equipment. However, results may vary depending on:
- Skin type and condition
- Lifestyle
- Aftercare compliance
- Hormones, age, medication, or underlying health conditions
We do not guarantee identical results to photographs, reviews, or testimonials. Your practitioner will explain realistic outcomes and number of sessions required.
6. Aftercare & Client Responsibilities
You will receive detailed aftercare instructions following your treatment. By accepting these Terms, you agree to:
- Follow all aftercare provided
- Use products recommended for healing where relevant
- Avoid contraindicated activities (e.g., sun exposure, sweating, makeup) during the recovery period
We cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions or complications resulting from failure to follow aftercare instructions.
7. Refunds & Returns
Treatments
Because treatments involve professional time, products, and specialist equipment, we do not offer refunds for:
- Completed treatments
- Change of mind
- Failure to follow aftercare
- Results that vary from expectations
However, if you experience an adverse reaction or concern, please contact us within 48 hours so we can assess and support you appropriately.
Products
Most unopened products may be returned within 14 days with proof of purchase. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept opened or used products. Some products will have a no-refund policy regardless of whether unopened or not. This will be explained at the time of purchase.
8. Gift Vouchers & Promotions
Where available, gift vouchers:
- Are valid for 12 months unless otherwise stated
- Cannot be exchanged for cash
- Are non-refundable
- Must be presented at the time of treatment
- Cannot be used after expiry
Promotional offers:
- Are subject to availability
- May change or end without notice
- Cannot be combined unless explicitly stated
9. Website Content & Accuracy
We aim to keep all information on our website accurate and up to date. However:
- Prices may change without notice
- Treatment descriptions may be updated
- Errors may occasionally occur
We reserve the right to correct information at any time. Website content is for general information only and should not replace personalised professional advice.
10. Liability
TrueOrigins Skin Clinic is not responsible for:
- Any loss or damage arising from use of this website
- Allergic reactions or complications where full and accurate medical history was not disclosed
- Adverse effects resulting from failure to follow aftercare
- Personal belongings lost or damaged within the clinic
Our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment provided. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be legally excluded (e.g., negligence causing injury).
