Hi, I'm Rachel, welcome to Unbound Therapies
I offer a variety of massage-based therapies including Remedial/Sports/Clinical Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (including pre & post surgery), TMJ Disorder Treatment (inc intra-oral work), Hot Stone Massage, Body Cupping and Natural Facial Rejuvenation
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy from the LSSM (London School of Sports Massage), with further advanced training at Jing Institute of Massage & Complementary Medicine, and continue to expand my knowledge by studying for a degree in Osteopathy at the London School of Osteopathy, as well as other regular CPD training
Treatments take place in my tranquil garden studio, situated between Pembury & Matfield in Kent. I also offer mobile appointments, I'm DBS checked and able to work with under 16's (with a parent/guardian present)

A completely bespoke session - perfect if you have a few issues stored up that you'd like to tackle at once, or would simply like some extra time to relax and restore. Your choice of treatments....perhaps you'd like an hour of clinical massage with an hour of manual lymphatic drainage, to follow, or some work on your TMJ, body cupping, or a face and head massage.... Includes a free 15 minute consultation for us to talk and agree on a plan for the time. Total time 2 hrs 15 mins

A supremely relaxing and effective treatment for the face & head, designed to revitalise and refresh the appearance of the face using non-invasive, massage-based techniques to stimulate the skin, muscles and lymphatic system.
This bespoke treatment can be targeted to individual concerns and may include a double cleanse, hot towels, targeted massage of the facial muscles to promote a plumping and lifting effect, manual lymph drainage and/or gua-sha to reduce puffiness and improve lymphatic flow, acupressure point stimulation and neck, head/scalp massage.
The treatment uses all-natural products from Tropic Skincare - a beautiful skincare range that is both kind to and highly effective on the skin.

Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) disorder refers to a group of conditions affecting the jaw, as well as the surrounding and connected muscles, tendons and fascia. Symptoms include pain or tenderness in the jaw, face, neck or shoulders, discomfort while chewing or speaking, a clicking or popping sound when opening or closing the mouth, clenching/grinding teeth, headaches, migraine, earaches, and inflammation.
This treatment targets the entire area, massaging the connected muscles in the jaw, face, head, neck and shoulders, removing trigger points and reducing tension held in the soft tissue that contribute to this painful condition. Please note that this treatment usually includes intra-oral (inside the mouth) work (gloves are worn) - please advise if you would prefer not to include this in your session.

Using very light, rhythmic strokes and gentle pumping motion, MLD helps stimulate the removal of metabolic waste and excess fluids, supporting the body’s natural detoxification processes and reducing oedema.
This can be particularly beneficial after periods of illness, inactivity, for pre or post-surgery, and for chronic conditions such as lymphoedema, fibromyalgia and long covid.

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialised treatment designed to accelerate healing, reduce swelling, prevent fibrosis (hard, fibrous scar tissue) and minimise bruising by stimulating the lymphatic system to move excess fluids. It is recommended for procedures such as liposuction, tummy tucks, breast augmentation and facelifts, generally beginning 1-7 days post-op (with surgeon approval) and lasting for 4-10 weeks after surgery, depending how your body responds to the surgery and the healing process.
Please contact me to discuss your surgery and for package prices. As a guide, a "typical" post surgical 6 week package of 10-12 treatments is £750. I work flexibly with you to provide treatments when you need them, evenings and weekends if that suits, and fitting in last-minute appointments if needed. Each body and each surgery is different so a flexible approach to treatment is key.

Cupping massage is a therapeutic treatment that combines traditional dry cupping therapy with massage movements. Originating from ancient Chinese, Greek and Egyptian practices, special cups are placed on the skin to create suction. The suction created by the cups draws the skin and underlying soft tissue upward; increasing blood flow to the area, loosening fascial adhesions and muscular tension and promoting lymphatic drainage.
