You may notice whiteness or blanching around the area, this is normal and should subside within a few hours.
You may get some swelling this is normal and should subside within 2 days. In some case’s there may be slight bruising, this should last no longer than 1 week (very unlikely).
Remember your colour will be darker and more prominent for 5 - 7days on average.
As soon as your procedure is finished, your body will start to heal. The skin will close, and you may see a thin crust which will protect the area whilst the skin underneath heals. Once the crust comes off, the pigment will be revealed, in a lighter form than the initially implanted colour (30% lighter).
The colour will continue to change and develop until 4 - 6 weeks. (in some case’s up to 3 months)
Please be aware you may notice areas of lighter colour or no colour at all, this is very normal part of the healing process and why we have a follow up as part of your treatment.
DO NOTHING for the first 2 hours! After this, please keep a cotton disk with you and blot the area every 2 hour until your bedtime. This is to remove any excess lymphatic fluid that may naturally drain off after the procedure.
• Wet a cotton pad and remove as much liquid as you can, with the clean water, pat and press into the brow area 2 - 3 times in 24 hours. Repeat this on day two (Morning, afternoon and evening). There may be a yellow staining on the cotton pad this is completely normal.
• Start applying the balm given on day 2 evening or day 3 morning. A rice size amount across the brow area. PAT into the brow DO NOT rub. DO NOT PICK ANY SCABS
Do not tweeze for at least a week, waxing and threading/waxing should not take place for at least 2 weeks.
Do not apply makeup to the area till fully healed. This will affect the healed results.
