Booking, Cancellation & Client Terms & Conditions

By making a booking with Amanda Brown Holistics, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Appointments & deposits

All appointments must be booked in advance.

A 50% deposit is required to secure and confirm your appointment. An appointment is not considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

Deposits are deducted from the total cost of the treatment.

By paying a deposit, you agree to the cancellation and no-show policy outlined below.

2. Cancellations & rescheduling

I understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.

Where at least 48 hours’ notice is provided, your deposit may be transferred to a rescheduled appointment, subject to availability and any applicable booking conditions.

Cancellations or requests to reschedule made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will result in the deposit being forfeited.

Repeated cancellations or rescheduling may result in future appointments requiring payment in full at the time of booking.

3. No-shows

If you fail to attend your appointment without providing notice, this will be treated as a no-show.

In the event of a no-show, the full outstanding balance for the appointment may be charged using the payment method/card details provided or authorised at the time of booking.

Future appointments may be refused or may require payment in full in advance.

4. Late arrival

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

Arriving late may mean that your treatment time has to be shortened so that the next client’s appointment is not affected. The full treatment price will remain payable.

If you arrive sufficiently late that the treatment can no longer reasonably take place, the appointment may be treated as a cancellation/no-show and the applicable charge may apply.

5. Professional boundaries & communication

Amanda Brown Holistics is a professional wellbeing practice.

All communication between clients and Amanda Brown Holistics must remain respectful, appropriate and professional.

This includes communication by telephone, text message, social media, email and in person.

Sexualised, flirtatious, threatening, intimidating, abusive, disrespectful or otherwise inappropriate communication or behaviour will not be tolerated.

Clients are expected to respect professional boundaries at all times.

6. Right to refuse or terminate an appointment

Amanda Brown Holistics reserves the right to decline, cancel or terminate an appointment at any time where I believe that continuing the appointment would compromise my personal safety, comfort, professional boundaries or wellbeing.

This may include, but is not limited to:

• inappropriate or sexualised comments or behaviour;
• unwanted personal attention or advances;
• intimidating, aggressive or disrespectful behaviour;
• repeated disregard for professional boundaries;
• behaviour that causes me to feel uncomfortable or unsafe;
• inappropriate communication before or during an appointment.

Where an appointment is terminated for these reasons, I will determine whether any payment or refund is appropriate based on the circumstances.

I do not have to continue providing a service where I feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

7. Home-based practice

Amanda Brown Holistics operates as a private, home-based practice.

For the privacy, safety and comfort of both myself and my clients, appointments are strictly by prior booking only.

Clients must not attend the premises without a confirmed appointment or bring additional guests unless this has been agreed with me in advance.

8. Personal information & payment details

Client information and payment details will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy requirements.

Where a card or other payment method is authorised for the purposes of securing a booking, you acknowledge that the applicable cancellation or no-show charges may be taken in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

9. Emergencies and exceptional circumstances

I understand that genuine emergencies can happen.

If you are unable to attend due to an unexpected emergency, please contact me as soon as possible.

Any decision to waive or reduce a cancellation or no-show charge in exceptional circumstances will be at my discretion.

10. Acceptance of these Terms

By making a booking and paying the required deposit, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions, including the cancellation, no-show and professional-boundary policies.

Amanda Brown Holistics reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The version applicable at the time of booking will apply to that appointment
