Effective from June 2025. Please read the following terms carefully before booking a treatment with Aura Botanica. By confirming your booking, you agree to the terms outlined below, which are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both client and therapist. 1. Appointments & Booking Policy All treatments are strictly by appointment. A £25 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your session. This fee will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment. Appointments are confirmed only upon receipt of this booking fee. Package bookings or promotional offers may require full pre-payment to confirm. 2. Cancellations, Late Arrivals & No-Shows You must provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend, will result in the loss of your booking fee. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late and your treatment cannot be completed within the original time slot, it may be shortened or rescheduled at your expense. 3. Health Conditions & Medical Information It is your responsibility to inform me of any relevant medical conditions, surgeries, injuries, or medications prior to treatment. Treatments are complementary and do not replace medical care. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. You may be asked to consult your GP or provide medical clearance for certain treatments, including pregnancy massage, abdominal therapy, or if you have serious or complex health issues. 4. Pregnancy Massage Policy Pregnancy massage is only offered after the first trimester (from 13 weeks gestation). You must inform me of your due date and any relevant health concerns (e.g., high blood pressure, history of miscarriage, pelvic pain). A detailed consultation will be conducted, and treatment may be adapted or declined based on your individual circumstances. If any complications arise during your pregnancy, please notify me before your session. 5. Abdominal & Therapeutic Massage Abdominal massage is not suitable for clients who are currently menstruating, pregnant, have an IUD, abdominal hernia, or have undergone recent abdominal surgery (within 6 months). All abdominal and deep tissue techniques will be discussed and adapted for your comfort and safety. I reserve the right to modify or postpone this treatment if contraindications are present. 6. Facials & Skin Sensitivities Please inform me of any allergies, recent skincare treatments, or skin conditions before your facial. I use natural, Ayurvedic and plant-based products but cannot guarantee zero sensitivity or allergic reaction. Avoid exfoliation, waxing, or retinol products for 48 hours before your facial. Post-facial, please avoid heavy makeup, direct sun exposure, and harsh skincare products for at least 24 hours. 7. Right to Refuse or End Treatment I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a treatment at any time if: There are undisclosed medical conditions or contraindications The environment is unsuitable for treatment The client displays inappropriate, disrespectful, or aggressive behaviour The client is under the influence of alcohol or drugs In such cases, the full session fee may still apply. 8. Treatment Environment (Mobile Services) Please ensure a clean, warm, quiet space is available for your session. The treatment space must be smoke-free, pet-free, and free from distractions (e.g., phone calls, noise). Parking access and safe entry must be available, especially for evening appointments. 9. Hygiene & Infectious Illness Policy If you are experiencing symptoms of illness (cold, flu, COVID-19, contagious skin conditions), your treatment must be rescheduled. I reserve the right to refuse treatment if you appear unwell on arrival. Enhanced hygiene practices are maintained to ensure the safety of all clients. 10. Age Policy & Consent Clients must be aged 18 years or over. Treatments for 16–17 year olds require written parental consent and the presence of a parent or guardian during the appointment. 11. Confidentiality & Data Protection All information shared during consultations is confidential and handled in compliance with UK GDPR regulations. Client records are stored securely and will not be shared without your written consent. 12. Gift Vouchers & Packages Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. Packages must be used within the agreed timeframe and are non-transferable and non-refundable. 13. Disclaimer By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you understand and accept these terms. You agree that all treatments received are undertaken voluntarily and at your own risk.
