Terms & Conditions


These terms are in place to ensure a smooth, respectful, and enjoyable experience for both you and us. By booking an appointment with Aura, you agree to the following:

Appointments & Booking

All appointments must be booked in advance through our booking system, or through us, but confirmed and processed here on Solo. Please select the correct service when booking. If you’re unsure, we recommend dropping us a message for support, to ensure timings are assigned appropriately.

Late arrivals of 15 minutes or more may result in a shortened service or rescheduled appointment to avoid impacting other clients.


Cancellations & No-Shows

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may result in a 50% charge.
  • No-shows, with no notice, will be charged full price of the service, which will need to be paid before the next booked service.

This policy ensures fairness to other clients and respects our time.


Consultation Forms & Client Responsibility

All clients are required to complete a consultation form prior to their appointment. This will be sent by Solo.

It is your responsibility to disclose any:

  • Allergies or sensitivities
  • Medical conditions or medications
  • Pregnancy or previous reactions

Failing to provide relevant information may result in the service being refused or stopped at the time. Aura cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions where details have not been shared. If you are unsure whether a treatment is suitable, please contact us before booking.


Payments

We accept cash or bank transfer only. We do not have a card machine at the salon.

As an independent studio, avoiding card fees helps us keep our prices fair and accessible. Bank transfer details will always be provided where suitable, and cash payments are always welcome with no preference.


Service Suitability & Refusals

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a service if we believe it may compromise your natural nail health or safety. This includes:

  • Severe nail damage or infection
  • Undisclosed allergies or conditions
  • Unsafe or unsuitable service requests

Your health always comes first. Please be aware, we can not diagnose, so contact with a GP of pharmacist will still be needed.


Repairs & Breakages

Repairs for lifting or damage must be booked promptly. Repairs are complimentary when addressed early. Breakages due to impact, pressure, or general wear and tear are not considered faults, but we are still here to fix.

Maintenance & Aftercare

Results and longevity depend on lifestyle, nail type, and following aftercare guidance.

  • We recommend infills every 2–4 weeks.
  • A removal and fresh set after 3–4 infills helps maintain strength and health.
  • Lifting should be addressed promptly with a repair appointment to prevent moisture or damage.

Damage caused by misuse, picking, or neglect is not the responsibility of the salon.


Working With Other Technicians’ Work

We do not remove work from other nail technicians. In some cases, we may be able to work with existing enhancements, but this is at our discretion and only from previous work done by nail technicians of our choice. Results, timing, and pricing cannot be guaranteed when doing so.

Children & Guests

We love welcoming clients to bring someone along if needed! To help us keep the space calm and safe, it’s always nice to let us know in advance.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website. Please reach out with any questions or queries.
