Looking after your skin and wellbeing following your appointment is an important part of achieving the best possible experience and supporting your results. Every treatment has its own recovery process, which is why your aftercare will always be tailored to the treatment you have received. Before you leave the clinic, we will talk you through what to expect, what to avoid, and how to care for the treated area.

Looking After Your Skin
Regardless of your treatment, there are some simple principles that can help support your skin following an aesthetic appointment.
Sun protection is an important part of maintaining healthy skin, particularly following treatments that temporarily increase sensitivity. Use a broad-spectrum SPF as recommended by your practitioner and minimise unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight.
Following treatment, your skin may benefit from a simplified routine. Avoid introducing multiple new products or active ingredients unless recommended by your practitioner.
Redness, dryness, peeling, swelling and small areas of bruising can occur following certain treatments. Allow your body to recover naturally and avoid picking, squeezing or peeling treated areas.
The information on this page is intended as general guidance. Your practitioner may recommend different aftercare depending on your treatment, skin, medical history and individual circumstances.
