Frequently asked questions about Braids and synthetic dreadlocks or FauxLocs:
Can I wash my Braids and synthetic dreadlocks or FauxLocs in the shower?
Yes, you can wash them (for example after you use the gym), but once a week is usually enough. Use normal shampoo, or anti dandruff product which will help clean Braids and synthetic dreadlocks or FauxLocs and scalp better. If your own hair is longer than 4 inches, you can still use hair conditioners, but if its shorter, I wouldn't recommended it. Rinse your hair very well after shampoo or hair conditioner, use big towel and wrap all your hair, leave it for 30-40 minutes to dry and finish off with hairdryer.
Hi I was wondering if the application of the Braids and synthetic dreadlocks or FauxLocs will damage your own hair?
Everyone has different kind of hair and condition, if your hair is weak or thin, I wouldn't recommend any extensions, but if normal - not too dry, not damaged and not too weak - girls have no problems, and hair grow nice and quick under the dreadlocks. I plat dreadlocks into your natural hair, there is no glue, no micro beads, no keratin bonds.
How often do I have to re-apply my Braids and synthetic dreadlocks or FauxLocs?
Every 6-7 weeks you have to remove Braids and synthetic dreadlocks or FauxLocs extensions, and if u like, put them back on.
What lengths and colors of Braids and synthetic dreadlocks or FauxLocs are available in the salon? You can go for full head or half head or even few single Braids and synthetic dreadlocks or FauxLocs between natural hair. Any length and color is available from 10 - 24 inches in any colors: black, pink, red, yellow, orange, blue, white, silver, green, purple, lighter or darker, pastels or bright neon colors ... any ombre style or candy Braids and synthetic dreadlocks or FauxLocs. You can mix couple of colors all together and wrap them in another crazy color. Just create your own style and design, and have a good fun :)
Do you only deal with afro hair?
We are qualified and experienced to deal with all hair types, however we have a specific focus for afro and mixed hair types as these have frequently been underserved in the hair care and trichology sectors and we want to be part of changing that.

A protein treatment is a conditioning treatment that adds protein to the cuticle layer of your hair strands

Get hair that shines like a diamond. The Keratin treatment offers an amazing solution to dry and damaged hair. The treatment fills in the gabs in your hair, making each strand stronger and smoother. By pumping your hair with high quality Nano-Keratin proteins you hair will he rejuvenated, will appear brighter and will be restored to a much more youthful state!
It calms your hair texture. If you want to keep your curly or wavy locks, a Keratin treatment can help smoothen without losing your natural texture. The Keratin system allows for complete versatility of style
Keratin Hair Treatments for Smoother Afro Hair
A keratin treatment is a semi-permanent alternative to perms or relaxers to smooth Afro hair. A keratin treatment to smooth & soften frizzy and unruly hair is a service that has become increasingly popular in recent years. It is the newest craze to get frizz free, more manageable black hair.
This fantastic hair smoothing service helps to soften the curls of black hair using the active ingredient keratin, a protein very similar to the components of human hair. Keratin works to “naturally” soften the curls in your hair, with the added benefit of strengthening and protecting your hair too, as well as reducing styling time.
How Long Will Keratin Treatment Last??
If you want to optimise how long the results last after the treatment , there are some things you need to keep in mind:
How often you wash your hair - If you wash your hair too frequently, the keratin layer will wash out faster. It is recommended to wash your hair no more than 2-3 times a week.

Cornrows are a traditional style of braids in which the hair is braided very close to the scalp, using an underhand, upward motion to make a continuous, raised row. Cornrows are often done in simple, straight lines, as the term implies, but they can also be styled in elaborate geometric or curvilinear designs.

Micro braids /locs are tiny braids/twists so small they often resemble thick strands of hair. As you might imagine, micro braids take hours to install and sometimes even days depending on the number of people working on them ...with human hair you can use them to start you locs journey. Clients provides their own extension as extensions are not included in cost. This service takes between 36hours to 40hrs and needs to be splitted into 3days
The term "detox" means getting rid of all the unhealthy residues that damage your natural hair in one way or the other. For dreads, it means getting rid of all the buildup from products, serums, oils, dirt, and lint accumulated in the dreadlocks during the locs journey. Detox dreads is a method that is focused on deep cleaning of the head by removing every kind of buildup.
Since the dared locks are matted hair that is tightly locked, they easily trap the products such as odors, dirt particles, and more into the locs and refuse to come out with usual cleaning and head washing methods. A complete detox requires some extra effort by using some specific hair care products that help remove all the buildup.
Are you ready for a new chapter in your hair journey? I can undo your dreads without cutting them.
After saturating your hair with conditioner, I will undo your dreadlocks from the tips using a rat tail comb. This is a really long process but it is totally worth it! This service can take between 4h to 24h+ depending on the length of the dreads, the size, how long you’ve been wearing dreads and if you would like to keep the whole length or not.
It is quite tricky and almost impossible to provide an estimated service duration as you can imagine.
Crochet Soft Locs can be used as a base for the locs. These locs are an excellent base as you can get the soft locs look.

Detailed Braids Care Tips
Moisturize: Keep your scalp hydrated by using moisturizing sprays, oils, and leave-in conditioners. Choose products free from mineral oils, which can cause buildup. Wash: Wash your braids every other week, focusing on cleaning your scalp. Use a small, wet flannel to gently cleanse between the partings and avoid over-washing. Gentle Handling: Be gentle when styling and avoid over-styling, which can cause damage and breakage. Nighttime Care: Protect your braids at night by wearing a silk or satin scarf to prevent friction and frizz. Touch-Ups: Consider touching up your braids every 4 weeks to maintain a fresh look, particularly around the hairline. Know When to Remove: Remove your braids after 6-8 weeks to prevent matting and maintain healthy natural hair. Avoid Tight Braids: Be mindful of tight braids around the hairline, as they can put pressure on the edges and cause hair loss. Regular Maintenance: Exfoliate your scalp regularly, use a lightweight oil to add moisture, and consider using a braid spray or water-based mousse for added moisture. By following these tips, you can keep your box braids looking fresh and healthy for longer.
