Arrive with no makeup on the eyes or brows. Ensure the area is clean and free of oils or creams.
After your treatment: Avoid getting your lashes or brows wet for 24 hours (including steam & sweat). Do not apply makeup or mascara to lash extensions. Avoid pulling, rubbing or picking at your lashes or brows. Keep brows hydrated with a nourishing oil/serum. Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to protect lashes and brows.
Microblading Aftercare
Your aftercare plays an important part in how your brows heal and retain pigment. Please follow these key instructions:
🤎 For the first 7–10 days:
● Keep your brows as dry as possible. Avoid soaking them, swimming, saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs.
● Avoid excessive sweating and strenuous exercise for the first few days.
● Do not apply makeup, skincare, oils or creams directly onto your brows while they are healing, unless advised by your brow artist.
● Do not pick, scratch or peel any dry skin or scabbing. Allow it to come away naturally.
● Avoid retinol, acids, exfoliants, facials and other active skincare around the brows until they have fully healed.
● Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning while healing.
What to expect
Your brows will initially look darker and bolder than the healed result. They may then become lighter, flaky or appear patchy during the healing process. This is completely normal — don’t panic!
The colour will gradually settle as your skin heals.
Your top-up
Your 4–6 week top-up is included and is an important part of the treatment. This is when we assess the healed brows and perfect any areas where pigment hasn’t retained.
If you have any concerns during the healing process, please contact me before applying or removing anything from the area. 🤎
