Congratulations on your new lashes! Proper aftercare will help your extensions last longer and keep your natural lashes healthy.
1. Keep Them Dry for the First 24–48 Hours
- Avoid water, steam, or sweat immediately after your appointment.
- This allows the adhesive to fully set and prevents premature lash loss.
2. Avoid Oil-Based Products
- Oil-based makeup removers, cleansers, and creams can break down the adhesive.
- Use water-based or lash-safe products around the eyes.
3. Be Gentle
- Avoid rubbing, pulling, or tugging at your lashes.
- Pat dry gently after washing your face or showering.
4. Clean Your Lashes Regularly
- Use a lash-safe cleanser 2–3 times per week to remove oils and debris.
- Brush your lashes daily with a clean spoolie to keep them neat.
5. Skip Mascara and Lash Curlers
- Extensions already give length and volume—mascara can clump lashes and damage extensions.
- Avoid mechanical curlers; they can break both extensions and natural lashes.
6. Sleep Carefully
- Try to sleep on your back to avoid crushing your lashes.
- Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction.
7. Touch-Ups
- Schedule fills every 2–3 weeks to maintain a full, beautiful look.
8. Watch for Irritation
- Slight redness or sensitivity is normal for 24 hours.
- Persistent irritation, swelling, or discharge may indicate an allergic reaction—contact your technician or a doctor immediately.
