What to expect after a facial?

  • Immediately after your skin is hydrated and radiates a healthy glow.
  • 48-72 hours: the skin remains hydrated, as circulation has been boosted.
  • 28-48 days: cells regenerate and the long-term benefits of the facial kick in.
  • 4-6 weeks: time to schedule your next appointment to remove dead skin cells and rid the skin of impurities.

Why? Cleansing - this should be performed at the beginning, and the end of each day to remove make up and impurities, such as dirt, excess sebum, dead skin cells, bacteria, and pollutants. Cleansing helps to keep pores clean and your skin looking its best. Ensure hands are clean before performing.

Toner - a quick absorbing liquid that helps to remove any last traces of dirt and impurities stuck in your pores following cleansing. Toner restores your skins pH level, smooths and refines pores and skin surface. An instant skin refresher.

Moisturiser - external factors such as pollution and UV rays can damage your skins moisture barrier. The skin on your face, ears, neck and chest shed cells more rapidly than other parts of the body, and therefore need moisture to repair itself, allowing for younger cells to rise to the skins surface.

Exfoliation - it should be performed twice a week to remove dead skin cells, smooth, rough patches, and help fade the appearance of acne scars and dark spots. Correct exfoliation leaves your skin fresh and bright.

Facial massage benefits:

  • Gentle pressure helps to stimulate circulation
  • Encourages lymphatic drainage which boosts the skins natural detoxification process
  • Relieve stress and muscle tension
  • Lifts and tones
  • Improve circulation and skin tone
  • Increases skin elasticity
  • Reduces puffiness and wrinkles
  • Increases product absorption

Skincare routine to be performed morning and evening:

  • Cleanse
  • Exfoliate (x2 weekly)
  • Tone
  • Mask (x2 weekly)
  • Serum
  • Moisturise
  • Eye cream
  • Oil
