AFTERCARE FOR SPMU BROWS, BROW LAMINATION, LASH LIFT, TINTING & WAXING
SPMU AFTERCARE
1. DO NOT USE SOAPS, FACIAL CLEANERS OR WATER ON THE PIGMENTED AREA FOR 7 DAYS. IF THE AREA DOES GET WET, GENTLY PAT DRY WITH A CLEAN TOWEL OR TISSUE
2. DO NOT WASH THE PIGMENTED AREA
3. DO NOT USE MAKE UP OR OIL BASED PRODUCTS IN OR AROUND THE PIGMENTED AREA. IF THE AREA BECOMES AFFECTED, GENTLY WASH AND PAT THE AREA DRY WITH A CLEAN TOWEL OR TISSUE.
4. NO CHLORINE POOLS
5. NO RETIN-A PRODUCTS - IE RETINOL, HYDRAULIC ACID (USUALLY FOUND IN ANTI-AGING PRODUCTS ETC) FOR THE ENTIRE HEALING PROCESS
6. NO STEAMY, HOT, LONG SHOWERS FOR 2 WEEKS
7. NO SUN OR SUNBEDS FOR 4 WEEKS
8. NO SAUNAS OR JACUZZI FOR 2 WEEKS
9. SHOWER WITH YOUR BACK TO THE WATER TO AVOID EXCESS WATER AFFECTING THE AREA FOR 2 WEEKS, APPLY A LAYER OF AFTER CARE GEL WHILST SHOWERING TO AVOID THIS.
REMEMBER
DO NOT BE ALARMED BY ANY FADING AFTER THE FIRST APPLICATION. THE FINAL COLOUR CANNOT BE JUDGED UNITL AT LEAST 4 WEEKS AFTER THE APPOINTMENT. AT THIS POINT A TOUCH UP SESSION WILL BE REQUIRED TO COVER ANY ISSUES REGARDING SHAPE, COLOUR, THICKNESS, DEPTH, FULLNESS & BALANCE.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE HEALING PROCESS
TODAY AFTER THE TREATMENT, DAB YOUR BROWS EVERY HOUR UNTIL YOU GO TO BED WITH A CLEAN, DRY TISSUE - DISPOSE AFTER USE.
AFTER THE LAST DAB BEFORE YOU GO TO BED, APPLY A LAYER OF THE AFTERCARE GEL TO YOUR BROWS
FROM THE NEXT DAY APPLY THE AFTERCARE GEL 3 TIMES A DAY - MORNING, LUNCH AND EVENING UNTIL DAY 4🫧
ONCE YOU HAVE REACHED THE 4TH EVENING YOU CAN DISPOSE OF THE AFTERCARE GEL AS IT IS NO LONGER NEEDED
IF A CRUST APPEARS ON THE SURFACE OF THE PIGMENT DO NOT FORCE THE REMOVAL BY PICKING, SCRATCHING OR WASHING THE AREA. IF YOU WAS TO DO THIS IT MAY HINDER THE RESULTS AND REMOVE THE PIGMENT.
FOR 2 TO 7 DAYS AFTER THE TREATMENT YOU MAY EXPERIENCE THE FOLLOWING:
- FLAKING, TENDERNESS, DRYNESS, SWELLING AND REDNESS - THIS IS NORMAL.
- THE COLOUR OF YOUR BROWS WILL OXIDISE AND WILL APPEAR DARKER WITH SCABBING - THIS IS NORMAL.
- WHEN THE SCABS DROP OFF THE COLOUR WILL LOOK SIGNIFICANTLY LIGHTER , BUT WILL RESURFACE UP UNTIL WEEK 4 - THIS IS NORMAL.
How Long Will My Treatment Last?
⏳LASH LIFT ⏳
Your lash lift will typically last 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare routine. For best results:
• Don’t over-process— wait at least 6–8 weeks between treatments.
⏳BROW LAMINATION⏳
• Brow tint typically lasts 3-4 weeks, depending on your skin type, skincare routine, how much you rub over them and exposure to sun or products.
• Waxing results usually last 3–4 weeks depending on your hair growth cycle.
Brow lamination typically lasts 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your natural hair cycle and how well you follow aftercare. For best results, avoid over-processing or frequent treatments—wait at least 8 weeks between appointments.
⏳TINT LONGEVITY⏳
• Brow tint typically lasts up to 6 weeks, depending on your skin type, skincare routine, how much you rub over them and exposure to sun or products.
⏳SPMU BROWS⏳
SPMU (Semi-permanent Makeup) Brows typically last 1 to 3 years, but this can vary based on your skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, and the technique used. For most clients, once you have had your touch-up after the initial appointment, you will need to rebook an appointment to refresh the color and shape every 18 to 24 months.

⏳WAXING⏳
Waxing results usually last 3–6 weeks depending on your hair growth cycle.
⚠️ Important Notes
• Some slight redness or sensitivity is normal after waxing and should subside within a few hours.
• Avoid exfoliation, active skincare, or chemical peels near the area for at least 72 hours post-wax.
