Before Your Appointment
1. Exfoliate Regularly
Buff away dry skin with a gentle, natural exfoliator 2–3 times a week before your appointment. This helps your tan last longer by revealing fresh, smooth skin.
The better the base, the better the tan.
2. Wax in Advance
Wax at least 48 hours before your tan to allow your pores to close fully. And residue to be removed.
3. Shave 24 Hours Before
Shave the day before your treatment and apply a rich moisturiser to replenish your skin.
4. Hydrate & Moisturise
Moisturise generously the day before your tan, ideally overnight, to prevent dryness and create the perfect base.
5. Arrive with Clean Skin
Rinse off all products, perfume, oils, moisturisers, and makeup at least 4 hours before your appointment.
No oily products 48 hours before your appointment.
6. Dress Comfortably
Wear dark, loose-fitting cotton or jersey clothing and dark underwear without tight waistbands or cuffs. Tight fabrics can rub away the guide colour.
7. Patch Test (if you’re new)
If this is your first spray tan, a patch test is always recommended to ensure the solution suits your skin.
8. Tie Up Long Hair
Bring a hair tie and secure your hair in a low bun to keep your neck and shoulders free.
9. Plan Ahead
If you need to run errands after your tan, make sure you’re dressed appropriately to avoid smudging your glow.
10. Protect Your Nails
Apply nail polish to fingers and toes before your appointment to prevent staining. (Gel and acrylic nails will not be affected.)
