Nail Aftercare

Your nails are an investment, and the correct aftercare will help keep them looking fresh, strong and long-lasting for as long as possible.

The First 24 Hours

  • Be extra gentle with your nails after your appointment.
  • Avoid excessive heat where possible (hot baths, saunas, steam rooms).
  • Use cuticle oil regularly to keep nails hydrated and healthy.

Daily Nail Care

  • Apply cuticle oil at least once daily.
  • Wear gloves when cleaning, washing dishes or using chemicals.
  • Nails are jewels not tools! Please avoid using them to open cans, scrape labels or pick at objects.
  • Keep hands moisturised to maintain healthy skin and cuticles.

To Prevent Lifting & Breakage

  • Avoid picking, biting or peeling your nails.
  • Do not file enhancements aggressively at home.
  • Be mindful when typing, lifting heavy objects or fastening seatbelts.
  • Book rebalances/removals within the recommended timeframe.

Recommended Maintenance To keep your nails looking their best, I recommend:

  • Builder/Hard Gel rebalancing every 3–4 weeks
  • Gel polish refresh every 2–3 weeks
  • Safe professional removal when needed

Removal Please do not pick or force off your nails, as this can cause damage to your natural nails underneath. I always recommend professional removal to keep your nails healthy and strong.

Allergies & Reactions Although rare, if you experience any redness, itching, swelling or discomfort after your appointment, please contact me immediately and seek medical advice if necessary.

Repairs I understand accidents happen! Please message me as soon as possible if you experience any breakages or issues after your appointment and I’ll do my best to help.

Thank you for supporting my business - I appreciate every single appointment and can’t wait to see you again ♡
