BROW PRE-CARE
- please refrain from using fake tan- this commonly alters the colour development of the tint. Wax will also strip your tan.
- 1 week prior to treatment avoid use of 'active' skincare, this includes products containing: acids, Vitamin A, retinols/ retinoids/steroids, vitamin C. These treatments and ingredients cause thinning of the skin which can result in bruising and grazing to the skin. If you are unsure of your products drop me a message id be happy to check ingredient lists.
- please seek advice from a GP if you are on any acne medications or steroid creams.
- avoid uv exposure 24hrs before & after treatment. (Sun & sun beds)
LASH PRE-CARE
- please attend your lash appointment eye makeup free where possible.
- contact lense wearers, remove lenses before your appointment as chemical and glue fumes can melt the lenses.
- heads up: for lash extension clients (for the most speedy and comfortable experience) assure you have gone to the loo, are wearing comfy clothing, have your hair not tied behind your head & allow friends and family to know you will not be able to answer your phone during an appointment (amergency calls of course are fine).
DON'T:
- sun bed within 24hrs before
- fake tan your face within 4 days before
- use AHAs, niacinamide, skin acids, steroids, acne medications for up to a week before
- botox or any extreme facials which include injecting, exfoliation, skin acids and skin peels up to 2-3 weeks before
Using all the above within the time frame will lead to skin grazing and a negative reaction.
