All bookings including returning clients require a non refundable booking fee to secure your appointment. At no point is your booking secured without one and the date/time remains open to other clients until a booking fee is paid. The booking fee is deducted from the procedure price on the day of your appointment. If you are in need of rescheduling, this can be done up to 72 hours prior to your appointment. After this period, your booking fee will be forfeited and you will need to pay another to reschedule. You can only reschedule ONCE. If you reschedule more than once, your booking fee will be retained no matter how much notice is given. You must reschedule to a date that is within 6 months of your initial appointment. We do not currently have any special circumstances for Covid-19 due to having correct sanitation and PPE in place which can be used onsite if you have a positive test for Covid-19. We will not accept last minute cancellations due to Covid-19 and the cancellations T&Cs apply. If you need to cancel your appointment altogether, this must be done up to 72 hours prior to your appointment and your booking fee will be lost no matter the reason. If you cancel within 72 hours before your appointment, you will be charged 50% of your full procedure price. If you do not show to your appointment, you will be charged 100% of your full procedure price. We allow a 15 minute leniency for arrivals. If anyone arrives late and past this time, it will be considered as a no show, and you will be charged 100% of your procedure price. By booking with us for tattoos or SPMU, you confirm that you are not; pregnant, breast feeding or have given birth in the last six months as we cannot tattoo you in these circumstances. It is important to eat well in the run up to your appointment providing your body with lots of nutrients to support with healing your body. This includes having something to eat within an hour of your appointment. Resting well in the run up to your appointment will also aid in a healthy heal. You must not drink alcohol or take recreational drugs 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you are found to be under the influence, we will turn you away. If you are prescribed antibiotics in the week or so prior to your appointment, please contact us. Do not partake in any heavy cardiovascular activities 24 hours prior to your appointment as this will widen your capillaries, increasing blood flow, therefore you will bleed more, making your tattoo much more difficult. Avoid sun exposure in the run up to your appointment, this includes sunbeds. If you are tan or sun burnt, we will not be able to tattoo sun damaged skin. We cannot tattoo over any healing scar tissue, scratches, bruises, eczema or any other skin condition outbreaks. Our cancellation/reschedule policy allows for no exceptions so please plan for your appointment accordingly. All of our procedures require you to be over the age of 18. Formal ID will be requested upon arrival. Please note, we do NOT accept student ID. It must be a drivers licence or a passport. At no point will we undertake procedures on anyone who is deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or any substances, no matter their legal class. If you are found to be underage or under the influence of any kind, you will be asked to leave, and charged 100% of your procedure price, and further blacklisted as a future client due to misconception. Abuse towards staff will not be tolerated and we take this seriously. If you are found to be abusive in any way, you will be asked to leave and authorities will be entitled to be involved if required. As a small business, we pride ourselves on doing things correctly. We also ask that any reviews are fair and honest. Anyone found slandering the business will have legal action taken against them immediately. Please make sure you allow yourself ample time for your appointment and do not rush your practitioner/artist on the day. We prefer to do things to the best possible finish and this may mean our initial quoted time was not enough. Many of our procedures will require you to fill out a pre-procedure questionaire which requires you to disclose medical information. This is required for your own safety. If you do not disclose any medication or conditions and it is later found out that it is a cause of a reaction or a poor healed result, you will be blacklisted as a client. KH Beauty Lounge take no responsibility for anything you do not disclose, or any poor retention/healed results. Along with medications, caffeine, alcohol, retinols, chemical peels and botox procedures can have an adverse affect on your procedure and healing process. You must disclose if you have had any alternative beauty treatments and/or aesthetic treatments in the 6 weeks prior to your appointment. If you have, we will have to reschedule and you will be charged 50% of your procedure amount and required to rebook at 100% of the procedure amount upon next booking. If your practitioner has to stop a service due to adverse bleeding because of medication, caffeine or alcohol in the system, you will be asked to leave and return on an alternative date, which will require a further full procedure amount to be paid. Please make sure personal hygiene is considered prior to your appointment and avoid putting any make up, lotions, creams etc on the area that is being worked on. This includes numbing cream for tattoos. All of these T&Cs are in place to make sure you have the best healed results possible and the most pleasant experience you can. Tattoo aftercare is explained and also issued on the day. High traffic areas such as the hands, fingers, elbow, knees, feet and parts of the body that are subject to clothing rubbing tend to have poorer retention of ink. KH Beauty & Elegance In Ink do not take responsibility for the healed results of your tattoo. Therefore any touch ups that are desired will be charged for accordingly. This is why is it extremely important to follow the aftercare instructions which includes avoiding sun exposure, no swimming and further recommendations which are stated in the aftercare instructions. All services are a 50/50 commitment from both practitioner and client which involves following strict aftercare. We are trained to be able to tell if a client has been exposed to sun/UV, used too much/not enough aftercare creams/lotions, had chemical peels/other aesthetic treatments that has compromised healing or had poor hygiene. Under no circumstances do KH Beauty & Elegance In Ink offer refunds for any undertaken services. Payments for remaining balances are to be paid on the day of treatment via cash or bank transfer. We do not have the facilities to accept card transactions at this time. Due to the nature of procedures we offer, we regrettably are unable to accept children in the clinic. We also do not have the room to accommodate spectators for sanitation reasons so please arrive alone.
