Aftercare

Your treatment is only part of your aesthetic journey. Proper aftercare plays an important role in achieving the best possible results and supporting a comfortable recovery.

Every treatment and every individual is different. While specific aftercare instructions will be provided for your particular procedure, the guidance below applies to most aesthetic treatments.

Keep the Treatment Area Clean

  • Avoid touching the treated area unnecessarily.
  • Follow any cleansing instructions provided by your practitioner.
  • Use gentle skincare products unless advised otherwise.

Protect Your Skin

  • Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 daily.
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds.

Stay Hydrated

Adequate hydration supports the body's natural healing processes and can help maintain healthy skin.

  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Maintain a balanced diet rich in vitamins and nutrients.

Avoid Heat Exposure

For the first 24–48 hours (or as advised):

  • Avoid saunas and steam rooms.
  • Avoid hot baths and hot showers.
  • Avoid intense exercise that causes excessive sweating.

Heat may increase swelling, redness, and irritation.

Avoid Alcohol

Alcohol can contribute to swelling and bruising following many aesthetic treatments. Limiting alcohol intake for the first 24–48 hours is often recommended.

Avoid Excessive Pressure

Where relevant:

  • Avoid rubbing, massaging, or pressing on treated areas unless instructed to do so.
  • Sleep with your head slightly elevated if swelling is expected.
