With a little care, your brows can look great for up to 8 weeks. The most important tip is to keep them dry for the first 24 hours. After this just keep them conditioned & brushed into place. - Following a brow lamination treatment, we recommend the treatment be repeated every 6-8 weeks. - If this has been paired with a brow tint, this can be topped up every 2-4 weeks to keep them looking perfect. - For the first 24 hours they must be treated with care, please do not touch or brush so the hairs stay in the correct direction. - Do not get your brows wet for the first 24 hours, including steam, saunas, showers, hot baths, or swimming. - We recommend a brow gel or conditioning serum between appointments to keep brows in the best possible condition. - Avoid makeup for 24 hours - Try to sleep on your back, so you don't press on your brows at night. - Avoid exfoliating products, retinoids, or retin-a's around your brows for 3 days. - Shape your brows morning & night.
- You cannot exfoliate for at least 3 days before or after the treatment - Anti-ageing creams or treatments do not mix with waxing. They chemically exfoliate the skin. Stop the use of retinoids or retin-a's at least 1 week before & post-treatment. - Try to avoid facial cleansers on the brow area for at least 24 hours after the procedure, unless they are specifically formulated for sensitive skin & it's very necessary - The skin on top of the brow & below must remain clear of makeup for 24 hours post-treatment - Do not expose your skin to sunlight before & especially not after treatment. this can cause sunburn & hyperpigmentation - Avoid sunbeds, saunas, & even spray tans for 48 hours. Sunbeds & saunas raise your skin temperature causing more sensitivity & open pores. - Please avoid the beach or pool. Chlorinated or salt water can irritate sensitive skin. - Avoid self-tan or spray tan for 72 hours pre & post-treatment. If you have had a tint, please protect this area to avoid discoloration. - Don't touch your freshly waxed skin, the oil from your fingertips can cause spots while your skin is sensitive. - Avoid overplucking eyebrows, stick to strays only. - No hot baths or showers, lower temperature only. - No sport, gym work, or other exercise (to avoid sweating). - Do not apply deodorants, body spray, lotions, powders, or other products to the area. - Keep the area clean & dry. - Some tenderness, small bumps and redness is very common. These are perfectly normal temporary reactions for around 24 - 48 hrs after waxing, especially if it is your first time having the treatment done. After you have showered, apply a hypoallergenic & fragrance-free moisturiser to the waxed area if required. Moisturise daily between treatments to keep the skin supple & help new hairs to grow normally. Exfoliate regularly to avoid ingrown hairs, avoiding harsh chemicals not too rigorously as this can graze the skin. You may notice a small amount of regrowth after a week or so. It can take up to 4 treatments for your hair to get into a growth cycle that gives the best results. You will need at least 3-4 weeks of growth before your next appointment before hair can be successfully removed. Please do not shave between appointments. To maintain a smooth appearance I recommend regular waxing every 4-6 weeks.
✨ Waxing Prep Checklist ✨ Get the smoothest results by following these simple steps: • ✅ Let it grow! Hair should be at least 0.5cm long (about a grain of rice). I will be unfortunately required to charge for the appointment if you arrive without enough growth. • 🛁 Shower beforehand – clean, dry skin is best. • 🧴 No lotions, oils or fake tan on the day of your wax. • 💧Hydration is key! Drink plenty in the lead up to your appointment & keep your skin moisturised between appointments, supple skin helps avoid ingrown hairs & makes the wax more comfortable. • 🧼 Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before to remove dead skin. • 🚫 Avoid shaving between waxes – it messes with your results. Your first wax may not have the longest results due to shaving previously, they will get better & better 😊 • 👙 Wear loose, comfy clothing to your appointment & after. Helps with infection & ingrown hairs. • 💊 Optional: Take a paracetamol 30 mins before if you’re sensitive. • 🩸 Avoid waxing during your period if you’re extra sensitive. • ☀️ No sunbeds or sunbathing 24 hours before. We also cannot wax sunburn.
If your brows or lashes look too dark, please don't worry - it will fade. The colour must be a little darker to begin with to enable the tint to last that little bit longer. The initial darkness will only last a few days & will get a little closer to the desired colour every time you cleanse your face. - Avoid getting your brows wet for 12 hours after having them tinted. Cleanse around the area with a gentle product instead. Giving the dye longer to settle is a tried & tested method to ensure the longevity of your tint. - Check your cleanser/eye makeup remover isn't oil-based. Oil strips the tint from your brows/lashes. Meaning you may need to repeat the process sooner than required. - Avoid rubbing the face/eyes. Avoid heat treatments or sunbathing, as this fades the tint. - Avoid putting contact lenses in until the day following your treatment. - Do not apply makeup or other treatments to the treated area for 24 hours. - Avoid the beach, swimming, saunas, or Chlorinated water for 24 hours. - Protect the tinted area from self-tanner to avoid discolouration. - Effects can start to diminish within 4-6 weeks due to natural growth cycles. - You can get the treatment done again every 2-4 weeks.
If correct aftercare is followed, the treatment lasts up to 8 weeks. - Keep lashes dry for 24-48 hours - Do not apply make-up or receive any other eye treatments for 24-48 hours after your treatment. - Be gentle & avoid rubbing the eyes - Avoid putting contact lenses back in for 24-48 hours - Avoid swimming/sauna for 24-48 hours - Use a lash conditioner daily - Avoid waterproof mascara - No sweating or Steam i.e. Sauna / Gym. - Comb the lashes upwards using the mascara wand - Sleep on your back for up to 2 days after treatment to prevent the lashes being squashed by the pillow. - Avoid eyelash curlers. If any stinging or swelling occurs, keep applying a cold dampened cotton pad, cold compress, or cooling spray to soothe, if it persists seek medical advice and let the technician know so they can put it on your records. If any symptoms persist, seek medical advice. You should wait at least 4 weeks before you book another lash lift treatment.
✨ Spray Tan Preparation ✨ Thanks for booking! Here’s how to get the BEST results from your tan: ⸻ 💛 First Things First… Don’t Stress! • We all have bits we don’t love — I’ve seen it all, and I promise I’m not judging! • I’m usually thinking: “Oh better Clean that later when I’ve dropped some tan!” 😅 So try to relax & you’ll be done in no time. ⸻ 🧽 Skin Prep Tips 🚿 24–48 Hours Before Your Appointment: • Shave/wax at least 24 hours before (wax ideally 3+ days before). • Avoid shaving right before to prevent “strawberry skin.” Tan needs some dead skin & shavers leave an oil residue which causes a barrier to the tan. • Exfoliate regularly during the week before – especially dry areas (knees, elbows, ankles). • Product tip: Rose & Caramel Purity Scrub or exfoliating gloves. 🧤 💧Daily Before Your Appointment: • Moisturise & drink water in the run-up to your tan to hydrate your skin. • Avoid moisturising on the day of your tan! 🛁 On the Day: • No moisturiser or deodorant (it creates a barrier + may turn tan green!) • No shower/bath at least 8 hours before your appointment (helps skin’s pH balance). • Don’t worry if you’re not feeling shower fresh, tan prefers this & all I can smell is the lovely coconut scent! ⸻ 👙 What to Wear & Bring • Loose PJs or comfy clothes, no bra/socks (to avoid lines). • Hair tied up – slick bun/ponytail is ideal, I will provide a hair net, especially for blondes. • Makeup-free if possible (I have remover if needed). • Optional: Vaseline on brows (I provide this) if they’ve been recently tinted. • Please let me know if you have Fresh Blonde Hair & I will add barrier cream to your roots. ⸻ 🏡 When You Arrive • I’m upstairs in the salon in a personal room with a bathroom available. We’re all used to pjs, no makeup - no judgement here. • I’ll provide: hair caps, sticky feet, baby wipes, remover, moisturiser, Vaseline. • We’ll chat about your skin & tanning goals to find your perfect shade. • I’ll give you privacy to undress (totally nude or paper pants – undress to your comfort level) • Barrier cream will be added to dry areas before spraying. • I’ll guide you through all the spray tan poses - Spray Tan Yoga 🧘♀️ • You’ll be dried off before you dress – no sticky or wet feeling before you leave. ⸻ 🛁 Aftercare • Depending on the tan: wash off after 1–8 hrs (I’ll confirm) • Use lukewarm water & oil-free, pH-balanced products where possible. • Moisturise daily to extend your tan (avoid oil-based products). • Avoid baths, saunas, and heavy sweating to keep your glow longer.
