Keep the lashes dry for the first 48 hours after treatment. Clients can shower and wash but must avoid totally immersing their face in water, either in the shower or bath or by swimming. Saunas and steam rooms should also be avoided for the first 48 hours.
Ideally, avoid applying any makeup for the first 24 hours after the treatment. This will reduce any irritation. When they do resume makeup use, the client should avoid any harsh eye makeup removers or rubbing their eyes roughly. A gentle makeup remover, paired with the gentle movement of cotton wool, is best for removing makeup.
Avoid touching the area. This will help minimise any chance of infection or contamination.
If is using mascara, I recommend that you use a good quality, conditioning mascara. Cheap, drying mascaras are not recommended, as these can dry out the eyelashes and weaken them. This is especially important for any clients who have had false lashes prior to an eyelash lift and tint treatment. Additionally, you may wish to use an eyelash growth serum.
