Terms of Service

Gail's Beauty & Holistic Therapy

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to all bookings and treatments made through this website or via telephone with Gail's Beauty & Holistic Therapy ("we", "us", "our"), based in Petersfield, Hampshire. By booking a treatment, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

We offer beauty and holistic treatments — including massage, waxing, nails, facials, eye treatments, reflexology and Hopi ear candles — for women only, from a private studio in Petersfield. Due to the nature of the treatments offered (which involve close physical contact in a private setting), this service is restricted to female clients only.

2. Bookings

• Appointments can be booked online via this website or by contacting us directly.
• Please provide accurate contact details when booking, as these are used to confirm, remind you of, or contact you about your appointment.
• We recommend arriving a few minutes before your appointment time. Late arrival may result in a shortened treatment time (charged at the full price) to avoid disruption to other clients.

3. Cancellations & No-Shows

• A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
• If you cancel or reschedule with more than 24 hours' notice, your deposit can be transferred to your new appointment.
• If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, miss your appointment, or fail to show up, your deposit is non-refundable and will not be transferred.

4. Patch Tests

• Certain treatments (including lash lifts/tints and brow tints) legally require a patch test at least 48 hours before your first appointment, or if you haven't had the treatment with us in the last 6 months.
• We reserve the right to refuse treatment if a valid patch test has not been carried out, or if any reaction is observed.
• It is your responsibility to inform us of any known allergies or sensitivities.

5. Health & Suitability for Treatment

• You must inform us, prior to your appointment, of any medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, recent surgery, skin conditions or medications that may affect your treatment.
• We reserve the right to refuse or modify a treatment where we reasonably believe it may not be safe or suitable for you.
• Our treatments are not a substitute for medical advice. If you have a health concern, please consult a doctor before booking.

6. Gift Cards

• Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
• Gift cards are non-refundable and non-transferable for cash.
• Gift cards must be presented (or the code provided) at the time of booking or treatment.

7. Client Conduct

We ask all clients to treat our therapist and studio with respect. We reserve the right to end an appointment early, without refund, if a client behaves in an abusive, threatening or inappropriate manner.

8. Liability

While every care is taken to deliver treatments safely and to a professional standard, we cannot be held responsible for reactions or outcomes arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client (for example, undisclosed allergies, medical conditions, or skipped patch tests).

9. Privacy

Your personal details (such as name, contact information and treatment history) are held securely and used only to manage your bookings and provide our services. We do not share your details with third parties except where necessary to operate our booking system.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this website.
