First 24 hours Avoid water: Don’t let your lashes get wet — no showers, swimming, steam, or sweating. No touching or rubbing: The adhesive is still curing, and disturbance can weaken the bond. No makeup or skincare around eyes: Avoid creams, oils, and makeup near your lash line. Daily Care Routine Clean your lashes daily: Use a lash-safe cleanser (oil-free and gentle). Clean by dabbing gently with a lint-free pad or brush — no rubbing! Brush them daily: Use a clean spoolie brush to comb your lashes in the morning or after cleansing. Brush from the middle to the tips (not the base). What to Avoid Oil-based products: Oil breaks down the lash glue — avoid oil-based makeup removers, eyeliners, and creams. Mascara: Especially waterproof mascara — it can clump extensions and is hard to remove. Mechanical eyelash curlers: These can crimp or snap the extensions. Sleeping on your face: Try sleeping on your back. Use a silk pillowcase if you can — it reduces friction. Picking or pulling: This damages both extensions and natural lashes. Ongoing Maintenance Get infills every 2–3 weeks: Natural lashes shed in cycles, and extensions fall with them. Refills keep them looking full. Stay dry after refills too: The same no-water rule applies for 24–48 hours after each refill. Check for irritation: If your eyes feel itchy, red, or swollen, contact your lash technician or a doctor — don’t try to fix it yourself. Tips Keep a small spoolie brush in your bag — helpful if lashes get twisted or messy during the day. Always ask your lash tech if a new product is safe for extensions.
