Gel Polish & BIAB Nail Aftercare
Your nails have been carefully prepared and finished to ensure longevity and a flawless result. Following the aftercare advice below will help maintain their condition and appearance.
First 24 Hours
Avoid prolonged exposure to hot water, steam or heat (baths, saunas, hot tubs).
Treat your nails gently while they fully settle.
Daily Care
Apply cuticle oil daily to maintain hydration and flexibility.
Use hand cream regularly to keep skin and nails nourished.
Wear gloves when cleaning, gardening or using household chemicals.
Protect Your Nails
Do not use your nails as tools (opening cans, scratching labels, lifting objects).
Avoid biting, picking, or peeling the product, as this can damage the natural nail.
Refrain from excessive pressure or impact to the nail surface.
Maintenance
BIAB and gel polish are not permanent and should be maintained regularly.
Recommended infill or removal timeframe is 3-4weeks, depending on nail growth and lifestyle.
Book removals professionally — never attempt to remove product at home.
Lifestyle Considerations
Prolonged water exposure, harsh chemicals, frequent hand sanitiser use, and manual work may reduce wear time.
Nail longevity varies based on natural nail condition and daily activities.
Repairs
Any lifting, chipping or breakage should be addressed as soon as possible.
Repairs are assessed on a case-by-case basis and may incur a charge if caused by wear or misuse.
Spray Tan Aftercare
Your spray tan has been expertly applied to ensure a flawless, even glow. Following the aftercare below will help your tan develop beautifully and last longer.
Immediately After Your Appointment
Wear loose, dark clothing and flat shoes.
Avoid water, sweating, rain, or skin-to-skin friction during the development time advised.
Do not apply perfume, deodorant, makeup, or skincare to the tanned area.
During Development
Avoid exercise, heat, or activities that may cause perspiration.
Be mindful of tight clothing, bras, or bags that may rub the skin.
First Rinse
Rinse with lukewarm water only at the advised time.
Do not use soap, body wash, exfoliants, or scrubs during the first rinse.
Pat skin dry gently — do not rub.
Ongoing Care
Moisturise daily using an oil-free, fragrance-free moisturiser.
Avoid exfoliating products, loofahs, scrubs, or retinol while your tan lasts.
Limit long baths, hot tubs, saunas, and swimming where possible.
Prolonging Your Glow
Moisturising consistently will help your tan fade evenly.
Avoid shaving or waxing for 24–48 hours after tanning.
When fading, exfoliate gently to remove remaining colour evenly.
Important Notes
Tan longevity varies based on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.
We cannot guarantee results if aftercare advice is not followed.
Colour may transfer slightly onto clothing or bedding during development — this will wash out.
