Hi 👋🏻 I’m Rachel, and you’ll find me based in my home salon with my little dog Lola 🐾 I'm so proud to share that Hair & Nail Lounge is a 2026 finalist for best home salon at the HBA Awards I’m a fully qualified hairstylist & nail tech Offering everything from colour transformations, cutting and styling, hair extensions to gel polish and builder gel nails. I also specialise in bridal and occasion hair and have been featured in 2 Devon wed magazines.
A little about me... when I’m not in the salon, you’ll usually find me on days out with my husband and Lola🐾 planning my next Disney trip, reading a good book, or spending time with family and friends. I’m a big Starbucks lover and I’m always counting down until my next holiday.✈️
Based in Hele Park, Newton Abbot Free parking is available either on the road you enter where possible, if spaces are limited parking is available at the top of Hollyhock Crescent in the space next to my grey VW Golf, marked with a sign displaying my address. Please don't park in any other bays or please double check if you are unsure.

This appointment allows time for full consultation and prep so we can choose the best option for your nails - wether that's BlAB or Gel - If you know what you'd like to book in for please book for the exact service in the menu to allow for different timings. (this does not include time for Xtensions.

PARKING
Please park only in the designated parking space next to the grey Volkswagen Golf at the top of the estate. The space is clearly marked with a sign displaying my address.
To avoid upsetting neighbours, please do not park in any other residential parking spaces on the estate.
The designated parking space is available for client use between 9am and 5pm.
Alternatively, parking is available on the street as you enter the estate, where there is enough room for cars to pass safely.
If you are unsure please just ask!

Payment: Cash or Bank transfer to be paid at time of appointment. If paying cash please try to bring the exact change.
Appointments: Please arrive alone unless agreed by me beforehand. I am unable to accommodate anyone under the age of 16 or nail services or hair colour.
Lateness: If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be cancelled and a late fee will be applied.
Cancellations: Please give at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Late cancellations: Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will be charged 50% of the service total.
No-shows: If you do not attend your appointment without notice the full amount of the missed service will be charged.
