Please take a moment to read through the policies below. They're here to make sure your appointment runs smoothly and we both have the best experience possible. By booking, you agree to these terms, so be sure to have a proper scroll before securing your slot!

🧼 Your Nails

Please make sure to give your hands a good wash and scrub before your appointment, this ensures your hands are clean, free from oils, cream or dirt.
Please arrive with bare nails unless you're booked in for a removal or infill(my work only).
If you have nails done by another tech, I am happy to remove them for you and do a new set as long as the nail underneath is healthy enough to be worked on.

📅 Reschedules & Cancellations

Appointments can be rescheduled once per deposit.
Reschedules or Cancelations must be done with 48 hours notice otherwise your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to book a new appointment.
Less than 24 hours notice will result in 100% of your service cost being due, if this amount is not paid you will not be able to book any further appointments.
No-shows will be charged 100% and won’t be able to book again.
Clients who cancel last minute more than once in a short amount of time will be blocked from booking again.

⏰ Timing & Lateness

Please arrive on time for your appointment, arriving late may result in a shortened appointment or me having to turn you away, the full amount for the service booked will still be due.
If you are running late please let me know before your appointment time. I have a grace period of 15 minutes if you are late, I understand life happens.
If I haven’t heard from you within 10 minutes of your appointment, this will count as a no show and your appointment will be cancelled.

🚗When You Arrive

If you arrive early, I may still be with another client and you may have to wait for a little while.
If you are driving please leave with extra time to find a parking space. Please do not park on the driveway as my mother works with elderly clients that cannot walk very far, the driveway is usually in constant use during the day.
When you arrive please send me a message on Instagram, or text me on my work phone number to let me know you've arrived, and I will come to get you. Please do not ring the main door bell to the house as my studio is based in the garden and I will not hear you arrive.

💅🏽During Your Appointment

During your appointment please make sure you are sitting close enough to the desk so I can reach your hands.
As I'm working on your hands please keep them relaxed, and let me support and guide your hand as needed. please avoid moving your hands suddenly as this helps me to work safely and neatly. If you have any conditions that make it painful to move your hands as much or have less flexibility please let me know so I can adjust to accommodate you.
Please try to limit your phone usage during your appointment, feel free to watch a video and have it stood up or call a friend by all means, but using your phone moves your other hand a lot more than you would think, it makes it a lot harder to work or paint artwork and also lengthens your appointment time.
Please avoid touching anything during your nail appointment. This leads to fluff and oils sticking to your nails, this can lead to early service breakdown or lint can affect the finish.

🚩 Health & Safety

Please do not show up to your appointment with any of the following:

Fungal or bacterial infections, of the nails or the skin.
Open or weeping cuts, wounds, irritation or sores around the hands or nails.
Severely damaged or lifted natural nails/damage from ripping/peeling previous nails off.
Warts or verrucas on the hands.

If any of the above are present at your appointment, I’ll have to politely decline the service for your safety and recommend seeking medical advice. Your nail health always comes first!

🏡 Respect My Space

This is a safe, welcoming studio for all, and I like to keep it that way.

I love having a good chat and a laugh while doing your nails! Jokes and conversation, or discussion are always welcome, I'm not shy so you don’t have to filter every word. However, some subjects are better suited for a therapist or a private support space and are not appropriate for your nail appointment. Let's keep our chats respectful and appropriate so we can both enjoy your appointment.
Disrespect and rudeness will not be tolerated, I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment.
Not in the mood to chat? Having a rough day? Just let me know, I offer silent appointments.
If there's anything I need to know during your service whether that's comfort, preferences of nails or concerns please speak up. I want you to feel looked after.

⏳ Nail Maintenance

I know it can be tempting to leave your gel or acrylic nails as long as possible, but they do need regular upkeep so your nails underneath stay healthy and looking their best. Please book an infill every 2-4 weeks, Leaving your nails too long between appointments can lead to painful breaks, weakening of the natural nails or infections of the nail plate due to lifting of product.

💸 Payments

Deposits are mandatory and will be taken off the total treatment cost at the end of the appointment.
For the remainder of your service cost I only accept cash, spot payment (through QR code via banking apps) or bank transfer.
Please try to bring the correct amount when paying in cash as I do not keep money with me.

💔 Refunds & Repairs

I do not offer refunds for services.
Your satisfaction really does matter to me, If there's anything you're not happy with please make sure to mention it during the appointment, if you’re nervous don't worry I make sure to check your satisfied at each stage of the appointment so please don't be worried about speaking up, If you fail to let me know during your appointment I may not have time to fix anything at the end and the full amount will still be due.
If a nail needs a fix within 4 days, I’ve got you, it’s free. After 4 days, repairs per nail start from £5. If damage is due to negligence or force, a repair fee will still apply within the 4 day grace period.

🧒 Visitors & Children

No children under 16 are permitted for safety reasons.
I do not allow any plus ones to your appointments.

🤧 Illness & Allergies

Feeling unwell? Please let me know and we can reschedule.
If you show up sick, I’ll have to ask you to rebook and you will lose your deposit.
Got allergies or sensitivities? Tell me in advance so I can prep properly.
