LAMINATION
48 hours before:
- Avoid retinol, acids, peels, harsh exfoliants, and any active skincare near the brows.
Brows are more likely to over-process if the skin barrier is compromised.
- No sunbeds, sauna or steam.
- Avoid brow tinting from another salon — I’ll tint during lamination if needed.
24 hours before:
- Avoid fake tan close to the brows (can cause colour change).
- Stop using brow serums temporarily.
On the day:
- Arrive with clean brows — no makeup, oil or skincare on the brows.
- Brows must not be henna’d within the last 4 weeks.
Important:
- Brow lamination is not suitable if you have very sensitive skin, active eczema, dermatitis, broken skin, or a history of reactions to perms/keratin treatments.
First 24 hours after
- Keep brows dry – no water, steam or sweat.
- Do not apply makeup or skincare to the brow area.
- Avoid touching or brushing brows.
After 24 hours
- Brush brows into place daily.
- Apply brow conditioner or oil to keep them hydrated.
- Avoid exfoliating acids on the brows (AHA/BHA/retinol).
- Avoid excessive heat or steam — it can weaken the lamination.
Top tip:
Keep them moisturised to prevent dryness or frizzing.
