Consultations are virtual and is for you if you have loose natural hair and want locs (Microlocs or traditional), this informal video chat helps gain insight and clarity on what your locs journey might look like according to YOUR hair and lifestyle needs.

FIRST TIME BOOKINGS REQUIRE CONSULTATION (virtual) BEFORE ANY TREATMENT APPOINTMENT

MicroLocs standard re-tie using the point turn interlocking method. This is the same technique used in the sisterlocks TM system. COST AND TIME VARY. This minimum price is based on 6 weeks regrowth and a 350 max Loc-count. Additional weeks overdue and/or a higher loc-count or larger head will be charged and timed accordingly: £30 per additional hour.

FIRST TIME BOOKINGS REQUIRE A CONSULTATION (virtual or in person) BEFORE ANY APPOINTMENT IS ACCEPTED

This method captures and wraps regrown hair back into each loc to neaten excessive frizz and re-establish clean parts. PLEASE ADD STYLE IF REQUIRED.

ADDITIONAL TIME (due to longer hair, or high loc count etc) OVER 3hrs is CHARGED AT £20 PER hour.

FIRST TIME BOOKINGS REQUIRE CONSULTATION BEFORE ANY APPOINTMENT IS ACCEPTED

Regrowth is weaved back into the loc using a latch/hook or interlock tool. This method is best suited to hair which has a looser curl pattern and/or silky texture. This technique would also suit those who prefer locs to have a neater and more consistent loc finish.

ADDITIONAL TIME (due to longer hair or higher loc count) OVER 4hrs is CHARGED AT £25 PER hour.

FIRST TIME BOOKINGS REQUIRE CONSULTATION BEFORE ANY APPOINTMENT IS ACCEPTED

Regrowth is crocheted back into the loc using tiny crochet hooks. This method is best suited to hair which has a looser curl pattern and/or silky texture. This technique also suits those who prefer locs to have an “instantly locked” finish.

ADDITIONAL TIME (due to longer hair or higher loc count) OVER 3hrs IS CHARGED AT £30 PER hour.

First time bookings require a CONSULTATION (via video call) before ANY Micro Locs installation or maintenance

MicroLocs installation method (twist, braid or interlock) will be selected to suit hair texture and lifestyle needs.

PRICE IS A BASE PRICE FOR 4” HAIR: BOOK YOUR VIRTUAL CONSULTATION FOR INFORMATION AND SERVICE QUOTE.

Microlocs are similar to but not the same as the sisterlocks TM installation system. Final install will aim for a final loc-count of approximately 300-350 MicroLocs.

MicroLocs are braided/twisted and ends bound before washing with a clarifying cleansing shampoo.

Following a good wash, your microlocs are steamed to add hydration into each strand followed by a cool rinse.

Repair and restore, damaged, congested (lint/buildup) and/or tired locs with this bespoke service which uses various methods of repair to balance and correct disruptions in loc consistency and restore loc appearance and condition.

Locs established using the two strand twist method resemble ‘Senegalese twists’ at first. This involves wrapping two sections of hair together from root to tip. Suitable for hair with a kinky and coily curl pattern and texture. If your natural hair is long and/or plentiful and/or your hair density is high, expect your install to take more time and to cost more.

ADDITIONAL TIME OVER 4hrs IS CHARGED AT £20 PER 60mins.

Parted sections of hair will be wrapped inside a small piece of your own hair to form firm tubes of hair which initially may resemble styles created by African hair threading. This method is suitable for hair texture which may be wiry or stubbornly textured. If your natural hair is long and/or plentiful and/or your hair density is high, expect your install to take more time.

ADDITIONAL TIME OVER 5hrs is CHARGED AT £24 PER 60mins.

Hair is weaved from the tips up to the root. This method is best suited for hair with a looser curl pattern and/or a silky texture. This method would also suit those who prefer locs that have a neater more uniform appearance. If your natural hair is long and/or plentiful and/or your hair density is high, expect your install to take more time and cost more.

ADDITIONAL TIME OVER 6 hours IS CHARGED AT £26 PER 60mins.

FIRST TIME BOOKINGS REQUIRE A CONSULTATION BEFORE ANY APPOINTMENT IS ACCEPTED

Natural hair is weaved to form instant locs. This method is best suited for hair with a looser curl pattern and/or a silky texture. This method would suit those who prefer to NOT go through the starter loc phase which can be unpredictable. Locs started this way have a more uniform appearance.

If your natural hair is long and/or plentiful and/or your hair density is high, expect your install to take more time and cost more.

ADDITIONAL TIME OVER 6 hours is CHARGED AT £30 PER 60mins.

Trim* away the ends of matured locs to even out, reduce extra weight or simply for a new look.

A good wash to clean well looked after locs using clarifying and moisture rich cleansing shampoos.

FIRST TIME BOOKINGS REQUIRE A CONSULTATION BEFORE ANY APPOINTMENT IS ACCEPTED

This intensive treatment is for locs which have accumulated product and dirt buildup over time which everyday washing may not be able to remove.

A clarifying natural mixture is used to release buildup from the locs and then a clarifying shampoo is used several times over to give locs a lighter and fresh outcome.

Refresh between regular maintenance appointments with a classic style for every day like twists, ropes plaits hanging down.

IF BOOKING FOR THE FIRST TIME (or after 4 months plus), A CONSULTATION (in-person or virtual) IS REQUIRED BEFORE APPOINTMENT IS ACCEPTED

Refresh between regular maintenance appointments with an enhanced style such as, barrel twists and rolls, cornrows, Fulani styles or similar.

IF BOOKING FOR THE FIRST TIME (or after 4 months plus), A CONSULTATION (in-person or virtual) IS REQUIRED BEFORE APPOINTMENT IS ACCEPTED

Don’t have time for a retwist? Make your locs special again with a statement style such as a sculpted up do and/or intricate patterns or similar.

IF BOOKING FOR THE FIRST TIME (or after 4 months plus), A CONSULTATION (in-person or virtual) IS REQUIRED BEFORE APPOINTMENT IS ACCEPTED

Removal of locks is a simple but may be a lengthy process.

What ever your reason to remove locks, this process will do so with gentle efficiency
