After years of thinking about getting microlocs, I finally took the plunge and searched for a loctician. Luckily, I found Neeks at Hapi Natural Locs. From the start, the consultation was thorough and really helpful. We talked through the best options for my hair type, which is mixed and very soft, so I felt confident moving forward. Install day finally arrived and, after a long couple of days, and challenges because of my hair texture, my microlocs are now installed — and I absolutely love them! They look and feel amazing. From the moment I walked in, Neeks made me feel welcome and comfortable. Even after hours and hours of installing, her standards, precision, and attention to detail never changed. Honestly the best loctician I have ever come across! Neeks is extremely professional, has a comforting persona, she’s very methodical, and knows exactly what she is doing. I spent half of our session just marvelling at her locking technique. I honestly learned so much from the few hours I spent with her! You can clearly tell that she really loves what she does and cares about afro hair and the locking experience, whether you have locs or want them. I am looking forward to my retie sessions as I cannot recommend her enough.

Honestly just the most amazing experience from consultation to retwist! I have had such a challenging loc journey the past three years, with a second bout of postpartum hair loss. Considered cutting my locs and was in a moment of limbo until I found Neeks- she has repaired my thinning locs and I’m feeling confident again. Also 10/10 for her knowledge, patience and good chatter!

It was my first time at Hapi Natural Locs yesterday and it was by far the best experience I have had during my loc journey. Nika was very professional, answered any questions I had with so much patience and handled my locs with care. I learnt so much more in this appointment than I did with my previous loctician and I’m very pleased with the results and overall experience ☺️

I was searching for locticians in the area and came across Neeks in Aylesbury. Her page impressed me so I decided to book an appointment. I had her do interlocks on my dreads which I’ve never tried before and I’m amazed by how they turned out. I was also really pleased with how Incredibly knowledgable Neeks is about having and maintaining locs. I’m happy to have found a loctician I can trust and will definitely be using her again.
