By booking an appointment or receiving a service at Heel Within Holistic Therapy, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Holistic treatments disclaimer
- Complementary therapy: The holistic services provided at Heel Within Holistic Therapy are for complementary purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical or psychological conditions.
 - Medical advice: Our practitioners are not medical doctors. Our services should not be considered a substitute for professional medical care, advice, or diagnosis.
 - Consult your doctor: You are advised to consult with your physician or other qualified healthcare provider with any health-related questions. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information or services provided by our salon.
 - Client responsibility: You are responsible for your own well-being and for making informed decisions about your health. By receiving our services, you accept full 
 - responsibility for your personal experience. 
 
2. Client consent and consultation
- Medical history disclosure: You must provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, allergies, current conditions, and medications during your initial consultation. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the safety and outcome of your treatment, and we will not be held liable for any adverse reactions.
 - Informed consent: We will explain the nature of the treatment, its potential benefits, and any possible side effects. Your signature on the consultation form will signify your informed consent to proceed with the therapy.
 - Right to refuse service: We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a service if we feel it is not suitable for you or if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
 - Confidentiality: All personal and medical information will be kept strictly confidential in accordance with data protection laws. 
 
3. Appointments, cancellations, and late arrivals
- Bookings and deposits: A deposit of may be required 
 - to secure your booking. Deposits are generally non-refundable.
 - Arrival time: Please arrive on time for your appointment, for new clients please arrive 5 minutes before to allow for consultation and to ensure your treatment begins and ends on schedule.
 - Late arrivals: If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to provide the full service. The treatment time may be shortened, and you will still be charged the full price.
 - Cancellation policy: We require at least 48-24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than the required notice may result in a charge of 50% of the treatment cost.
 - "No-show" policy: Clients who do not show up for an appointment without prior notice will be charged the treatment cost.
 - Provider cancellation: In the event we must cancel your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide you with as much notice as possible and reschedule at your convenience. 
 
4. Salon etiquette
- Mobile phones: For a relaxing atmosphere, please switch your mobile phone to silent during your visit. 
 - Children: For safety and relaxation purposes, we prohibit unsupervised children in the salon. Please arrange for childcare prior to your appointment.
 - Conduct: We have a zero-tolerance policy for aggressive, abusive, or discriminatory behavior towards our staff or other clients. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates this policy. 
 
5. Liability
- Personal belongings: We are not liable for any loss or damage to your personal belongings while on our premises. Please keep valuables with you at all times.
 - Allergic reactions: While we use high-quality, often non-allergenic products, you are responsible for informing us of any allergies or sensitivities. We are not liable for allergic reactions where relevant information was not disclosed during the consultation. 
 - 6. General
 - Prices and services: Our services and prices are subject to change. For the latest information, please check our website or contact us directly.
 - Refunds: We do not offer refunds on services. However, if you are unsatisfied with your treatment, please inform us within 24 hours so we can attempt a satisfactory resolution.
 - Governing law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland
