SQT Bio Microneedling

SQT BIO MICRONEEDLING

Immediate Aftercare (First 24-72 Hours)

  • Avoid All Skincare: For the first 24 hours, avoid using any skincare products, makeup, water on the skin, completely leave your skin for 24 hours.
  • Gentle Cleansing: After 24 hours, you can begin to gently cleanse the skin with warm water or a very mild, non-active cleanser. 
  • No Active Ingredients: Do not use products with active ingredients, exfoliants, alcohol, retinol & any acids/active ingredients. 
  • Minimal Skincare: Focus on a minimal, barrier-repair skincare routine to support healing. 
  • Listen to Your Skin: You may feel the spicules in your skin and experience itching or peeling. Do not peel or itch your skin.
  • Protection: After 24 hours make sure you are always protecting your skin with a SPF 50

Microneedling

  • Exercise and Heat: Skip intense exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, and other activities that cause sweating for 24-72 hours. 
  • Makeup: Avoid applying any makeup, especially foundation, for at least 24 hours. 
  • Harsh Skincare: Do not use exfoliants, retinoids (Vitamin A), glycolic acid, or other strong active ingredients for at least 7 days. 
  • Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sun, sunbeds, and tanning beds for at least 2 weeks to prevent UV damage. 
  • Touching the Face: Avoid touching your face unnecessarily to prevent introducing bacteria to the healing skin.
  • Moisturise: Apply a pure hyaluronic acid serum and a gentle, hydrating moisturiser to soothe the skin. 
  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water and eat a healthy diet to support the skin's healing process.

Biorepeel

  • Avoid Harsh Ingredients:  Do not use products containing retinoids (Retinol), AHAs (Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid), or BHAs (Salicylic Acid) for at least 7 days. 
  • Sun Protection: Continue to avoid tanning beds and intense sun exposure for 7-14 days. 
  • Other Treatments: Avoid laser hair removal, waxing, chemical hair removal, and other skin treatments for 14 days. 
  • Hydration: Continue to keep the skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water and using a recommended hydrating cream.
  • Makeup: Do not apply makeup for at least 24 hours. 
  • Gentle Skincare: Use only gentle cleansers and moisturizers to keep the skin hydrated. 
  • Avoid Heat and Sweating: Refrain from strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers for 48-72 hours. 
  • Hands Off: Do not touch, pick, or peel your skin to allow natural healing
