Aftercare

Washing • Wait at least 48 hours after application before washing (especially for tape-in or keratin-bonded extensions). • Use sulfate-free and alcohol-free shampoos to avoid drying out the extensions. • Wash your hair gently in a downward motion, never scrubbing or twisting. • Apply conditioner from mid-length to ends, avoiding the bonds/roots to prevent slipping. • Use a deep conditioning mask once a week to keep them hydrated. Drying & Styling • Pat extensions dry with a towel—don’t rub vigorously. • Always use a heat protectant spray before blow-drying or styling. • Keep heat tools below 180°C / 350°F when possible. • Avoid applying direct heat on bonds, tapes, or beads, as it can weaken the adhesive or structure. Brushing & Detangling • Use a soft bristle or loop brush designed for extensions. • Hold your hair at the root while brushing to reduce tension on the bonds. • Start brushing from the ends and work upward. • Brush 2–3 times daily to prevent tangling, especially at the nape. Sleeping • Never sleep with wet hair always dry thoroughly before bed. • Braid your hair loosely or tie it in a low ponytail to prevent tangling. • Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction.
