Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment with KJR Skin and Beauty, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Appointments & Booking
Appointments can be booked through the KJR Skin and Beauty booking system, by message or by contacting Katie directly.
Please provide accurate contact details when booking so that you can be contacted regarding your appointment.
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. Please arrive on time to ensure there is enough time to provide your treatment.
2. Deposits & Payments
A deposit of 25% is required to secure your appointment, this will be deducted from the remaining treatment balance.
The remaining balance is payable at the time of your appointment.
Deposits are generally non-refundable, except where KJR Skin and Beauty cancels the appointment or where Katie agrees otherwise.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.
Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in your deposit being retained or a cancellation fee being charged.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require full payment in advance before any future appointments can be booked.
4. No-Shows
If you fail to attend your appointment without contacting Katie, this will be classed as a no-show.
Your deposit will not be refunded and, depending on the circumstances, you may be required to pay the full treatment cost before booking another appointment.
5. Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened so that the next client is not affected. The full treatment price may still apply.
If you are significantly late, Katie may need to treat the appointment as a cancellation.
6. Patch Tests
Certain treatments require a patch test before treatment, including lash lifts, tints, brow treatments and other treatments where applicable.
Where a patch test is required, it must be completed within the recommended timeframe before your appointment.
KJR Skin and Beauty reserves the right to refuse treatment if a required patch test has not been completed.
7. Medical Conditions & Contraindications
Please inform Katie before your treatment of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, skin conditions, recent procedures or other circumstances that may affect your treatment.
It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
If Katie believes that a treatment is unsuitable or unsafe, she reserves the right to refuse or postpone the treatment.
8. Treatment Results
Although Katie will always aim to provide the best possible treatment and results, individual results can vary.
Results may be affected by factors such as skin type, hair type, lifestyle, aftercare and individual reactions.
No specific treatment result can be guaranteed.
9. Aftercare
Clients will be provided with appropriate aftercare advice following their treatment.
Following the recommended aftercare is the client’s responsibility and can help maintain treatment results and reduce the risk of irritation or complications.
KJR Skin and Beauty cannot be held responsible for problems resulting from failure to follow aftercare instructions.
10. Children & Guests
For safety and insurance reasons, please avoid bringing children or additional guests to your appointment unless this has been agreed with Katie beforehand.
11. Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their own personal belongings during their appointment.
KJR Skin and Beauty cannot accept responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen personal items.
12. Right to Refuse Treatment
Katie reserves the right to refuse or stop a treatment where:

Payments for treatments are generally non-refundable once the treatment has been carried out.
If you have a concern regarding your treatment, please contact Katie as soon as possible so that the matter can be discussed and, where appropriate, a suitable resolution can be considered.
14. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are subject to the expiry date stated on the voucher and cannot normally be exchanged for cash.
Lost or stolen gift vouchers may not be replaced.
15. Prices & Offers
KJR Skin and Beauty reserves the right to change treatment prices, availability and promotional offers at any time.
Promotional offers cannot be combined unless specifically stated.
16. Client Privacy
Personal information provided when booking or attending an appointment will be treated respectfully and handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection and privacy requirements.
17. Changes to These Terms
KJR Skin and Beauty reserves the right to update these terms and conditions when necessary. The latest version will apply to future bookings.
