Waxing Aftercare
To keep your skin calm, smooth, and irritation-free after waxing, please follow the advice below:
- Avoid heat for 24 hours (hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds, and intense exercise).
- Wear loose, breathable clothing, especially after intimate waxing.
- Avoid touching the area and keep hands clean to reduce the risk of irritation or infection.
- Do not apply perfumed products, deodorants, or fake tan to the area for 24–48 hours.
- Gentle exfoliation can begin 48 hours after waxing to help prevent ingrown hairs (2–3 times per week).
- Moisturise regularly using a gentle, fragrance-free product.
Some redness or sensitivity is normal and should settle quickly. If irritation persists, please get in touch.
Builder Gel Nail Aftercare
Builder gel nails are strong and long-lasting, but good aftercare will help keep them looking their best:
- Avoid using your nails as tools (opening cans, scraping, picking).
- Wear gloves when cleaning or using harsh chemicals.
- Apply cuticle oil daily to keep nails flexible and healthy.
- Avoid biting or picking at the nails or cuticles.
- Do not attempt to remove builder gel yourself — improper removal can damage the natural nail.
- Regular maintenance appointments are recommended to keep nails looking fresh and prevent lifting.
Please note that breakages or lifting caused by misuse, trauma, or poor aftercare are not the responsibility of the therapist.
