Pre Procedure Advice and Aftercare

Pre Procedure Advice and Aftercare

correctly allows for the most seamless, long-lasting outcome.

Please follow the guidance below:

In the 48 hours before your appointment • Avoid alcohol and caffeine, as these can increase sensitivity and bleeding • Do not take blood-thinning medications such as Aspirin or Ibuprofen (unless prescribed) • Avoid intense exercise on the day of your appointment

In the week leading up to your appointment • Avoid sunbeds, sun exposure, and tanning products on the face • Do not use retinol, AHAs, or exfoliating skincare around the brow area • Avoid facials, chemical peels, or skin treatments that may sensitise the skin

Brows & Skin Prep • Avoid tinting, waxing, or threading your brows for at least 5–7 days before your appointment • Please allow your natural brow growth — this helps guide the most flattering shape • If you regularly use brow growth serums, discontinue use at least 2 weeks prior

On the day of your appointment • Arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the brow area • Ensure you are well-rested and have eaten beforehand • You’re welcome to bring reference images, but your final shape will be tailored to you

Important If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, unwell, or have any medical conditions, please contact us prior to your appointment, as treatment may need to be postponed.

This preparation allows us to work with precision, balance, and intention — creating brows that feel effortless, refined, and entirely your own.

First 24–48 Hours • Gently blot the area with a clean tissue if any fluid appears (do not rub) • Avoid touching your brows unless hands are freshly washed • Keep the area clean and dry • Do not apply any makeup, skincare, or products on or near the brows

⸻

Days 3–10 (Healing Phase) • The brows may appear darker at first — this is completely normal • Light flaking or dryness may occur; allow the skin to shed naturally • Do not pick, scratch, or peel any scabs or flaking skin • Avoid soaking the brows in water (no swimming, saunas, steam rooms, or long hot showers) • Avoid sweating heavily (intense exercise) • Continue to keep skincare products away from the brow area

⸻

Skincare & Products • Avoid active ingredients such as retinol, acids (AHAs/BHAs), and exfoliants around the brow area for at least 2 weeks • Do not use oils, balms, or unapproved products unless specifically advised • Only use aftercare balm if it has been provided and instructed

⸻

What to Expect • The colour will soften by up to 30–50% as the skin heals • Brows may appear uneven or patchy during healing — this is part of the process • Final results can only be assessed after 4–6 weeks

⸻

Top-Up Appointment

A perfection session is typically required after 6–8 weeks to refine shape, colour, and density. This ensures your brows heal beautifully and last longer.

⸻

Important Notes

If you experience unusual redness, swelling, or signs of infection, please contact us immediately.

Do not expose the brows to sunbeds or direct sun during the healing period.

Healing is a process of revealing — trust the stages, and allow your brows to settle into their final form naturally and beautifully.
