HAIR EXTENSIONS AFTERCARE
To keep your extensions looking full, healthy, and long-lasting:
- Brush gently 2–3 times daily using an extension-friendly brush, holding the roots to avoid pulling
- Wash hair 2–3 times per week using sulphate-free products
- Avoid applying conditioner or oils near the bonds/tapes
- Always dry bonds completely after washing (never leave them damp)
- Tie hair in a loose braid or ponytail when sleeping
- Use a silk/satin pillowcase where possible
- Avoid excessive heat near bonds and always use heat protection
- Do not use purple/silver shampoos unless advised
- Maintenance appointments are recommended every 6–8 weeks
GEL / BIAB NAIL AFTERCARE
To maintain strong, long-lasting nails:
- Avoid using your nails as tools (e.g. opening cans, picking, etc.)
- Apply cuticle oil daily to keep nails hydrated
- Wear gloves when cleaning or using harsh chemicals
- Avoid prolonged exposure to hot water (e.g. long baths/hot tubs)
- Do not pick, peel, or bite your nails
- If lifting occurs, avoid catching or pulling—contact me for advice
- Book infills/removals every 2–3 weeks
- Always have gels professionally removed—do not soak or pick off
BROWS (WAX, TINT & LAMINATION) AFTERCARE
To achieve the best results and avoid irritation:
For the first 24–48 hours:
- Avoid getting brows wet
- No makeup, creams, or oils on the area
- Avoid heat treatments (saunas, steam, hot showers)
- No tanning or sunbeds
General aftercare:
- Avoid touching or rubbing the area
- Keep brows hydrated with a recommended oil/serum
- Brush brows daily into place (especially after lamination)
- Avoid exfoliating products around the brow area
- Slight redness is normal after waxing and should subside quickly
