The Day of Your Procedure
For the best healing experience and beautiful, even results, please follow these aftercare guidelines carefully. The way you care for your brows after your treatment is just as important as the procedure itself. It’s completely normal for brows to appear darker and the skin slightly red immediately after treatment — this is part of the healing process and nothing to worry about.
Day 1 Your brows may look darker or more defined than expected on the first day. This is temporary — please don’t panic.
Days 1–3 • Gently wipe your brows twice daily, following the direction of the hair growth and against it, to remove excess fluid and help prevent heavy scabbing. • Clean using distilled water, sterile water, or cooled boiled water with a cotton pad or swab. • Mild itching or a slight pulling sensation is normal during this stage. • Please remember to maintain good hygiene. • Avoid applying any cosmetic products to the brow area.
Day 4 • Light peeling may begin at the front or ends of the brows — this is completely normal. • Itching is a natural part of healing; please avoid scratching. • Begin moisturising the brows with the recommended aftercare product. • Apply a very thin layer using a clean cotton swab. • The front of the brows should appear soft and natural, without harsh edges.
Days 5–7 • Peeling may continue at the front and ends of the brows. • Continue moisturising as directed and avoid picking or scratching. • Apply a thin layer of product to clean brows using a cotton swab.
Days 7–8 • Any remaining scabbing should no longer be visible. • If you notice small remnants, gently apply a tiny amount of aftercare product and softly rub — never scratch. • Clean the brows gently as needed. • If the brows appear slightly red or warmer in tone, this is normal and part of the healing process. • Final colour results will gradually develop and are typically visible around 4 weeks after treatment.
Please Remember 01 During healing, avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, saunas, and swimming pools. Allow your brows to heal naturally — scratching may interfere with results. Permanent makeup is a controlled skin procedure, and gentle care is essential. 02 Please follow your artist’s aftercare instructions closely. If you have any questions or concerns, always reach out directly to your practitioner rather than searching online. 03 Avoid applying cosmetic products to the treated area, as this may increase the risk of irritation or infection. Keeping the brows clean during the first few days is very important. Gently cleanse the brows in the direction of hair growth and against it — do not press fluid into the skin. 04 A touch-up appointment is an important part of the process, helping to perfect colour and balance if needed. This is usually scheduled 6 weeks to 3 months after your initial treatment.
To help achieve the best possible results, please follow the guidelines below prior to your appointment: • If needed, shave or wax the area at least two days before your treatment. Gently exfoliate and moisturise the skin to remove any dead skin cells. • Please avoid sunbathing or tanning before your appointment. It’s important to arrive with natural, untanned skin. • We kindly ask that you avoid blood-thinning substances for 3 days prior, including ibuprofen, alcohol, excessive caffeine (especially on the morning of your appointment), and certain supplements. • Please shower before your appointment, but avoid applying lotions or creams to the treatment area. • Avoid laser treatments on the area prior to your appointment. • Wear loose, comfortable clothing to ensure you feel relaxed during your visit. • For optimal healing, collagen supplements are highly recommended. Please also make sure you eat well and stay hydrated on the day of your appointment.
Proper aftercare is essential to support healing and achieve beautiful results. Please follow the instructions below: • Apply the recommended serum 3–4 times daily using clean hands. • Mild swelling is normal. To help reduce it, you may gently apply cold packs for a few minutes at a time, on and off. • Avoid sleeping directly on the treated area until swelling has settled. • Please refrain from working out or activities that cause excessive sweating for 3 days. • Clean the area gently and avoid scented soaps. An antiseptic cleanser may be used if needed. • Avoid hot showers for the first few days, as heat may cause irritation. • Please avoid salt water, exfoliation, laser treatments, waxing, or hair removal on the treated area for 14 days. • Avoid sun exposure and sunbathing on the area for 40 days. • For the first 30 days, please avoid sunblock, sunscreen, or products containing vitamin D on the treated area. • The treated area may appear darker during healing — this is completely normal, so please don’t worry. • Avoid scrubbing, picking, or peeling any scabbing or flaking. Allow it to shed naturally for best results.
