Maison de Glow — Client Terms & Conditions

Luxury mobile beauty services delivered with care, professionalism, and discretion.

Welcome to Maison de Glow (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our bespoke mobile beauty services, including facials, microneedling, chemical peels, waxing, nail, and brow treatments. By booking or receiving services, you acknowledge and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or receiving treatments, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. This constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Maison de Glow.

2. Our Services

Maison de Glow provides luxury, mobile beauty treatments at private residences, hotels, corporate offices, and events. While we deliver services with the highest professional standards, outcomes may vary depending on individual skin, hair, nail types, and overall health.

3. Booking, Deposits & Payment

  • Booking: Appointments may be booked via our website, email, or social media. Confirmation will be sent once the booking is secured.
  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments.
  • Payment: Remaining balances are due at the time of service. We accept cash and bank transfers.
  • Late Arrivals: We allow a grace period of 15 minutes for late arrivals. If you are not ready after 15 minutes, the appointment may be treated as a no-show, and fees may apply.
  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows incur a fee equivalent to the full treatment cost.
  • Corporate & Event Bookings: A signed agreement and deposit may be required to secure group or corporate appointments.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure safe and effective treatments, clients must:

  • Health Disclosure: Inform us of allergies, medical conditions, skin sensitivities, or medications prior to treatments. Failure to disclose may affect outcomes, and Maison de Glow cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions.
  • Aftercare Compliance: Follow the aftercare guidance provided for each treatment. Neglecting aftercare may compromise results.
  • Professionalism & Courtesy: Respect the therapist’s time, equipment, and safety guidelines.

5. Access & Environment

  • Clients must provide a safe, clean, and accessible area for treatments.
  • Maison de Glow is not liable for delays caused by unsuitable environments or unsafe conditions.
  • For home visits, please ensure clear access to the property and a safe, well-lit treatment area.

6. Liability & Disclaimer

  • All services are provided on an “as-is” basis. While we aim for exceptional results, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
  • Maison de Glow is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from treatments.
  • Clients assume responsibility for their choices, adherence to aftercare, and the provision of accurate health information.
  • Treatments may be contraindicated for certain conditions; Maison de Glow reserves the right to refuse service for safety reasons.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is paramount. We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • Personal Data Collected: Name, contact details, treatment history.
  • Purpose: Scheduling, client records, personalised experiences, marketing (if opted-in), and legal compliance.
  • Security: Appropriate measures are in place to protect your information.
  • Sharing: We do not sell or share personal data except where required by law.
  • Client Rights: Access, correction, or deletion of your personal data can be requested at any time.

8. Late Arrivals, No-Shows & Access Issues

  • We wait a maximum of 15 minutes for clients to be ready. Beyond this, appointments may be cancelled, and fees applied.
  • If the therapist cannot access the property due to locked doors or unsafe conditions, the appointment may be considered a no-show, and full charges may apply.
  • Corporate clients are responsible for ensuring the agreed space and time are available.

9. Corporate & Group Bookings

  • Deposits and signed agreements may be required.
  • Cancellation policies apply to the group as a whole.
  • Changes to participant numbers or schedules must be communicated at least 48 hours prior.

10. Changes to Terms

Maison de Glow reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting or direct communication. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in London.

To elevate your treatment experience, Maison de Glow may include the gentle diffusion of essential oils during select appointments. This aromatic element is designed to create a serene and luxurious atmosphere, enhancing relaxation and well-being.

Client Comfort & Consent

Before each treatment, clients are invited to confirm whether they would like aromatherapy diffusion included. While our diffusers use only high-quality, pure essential oils in minimal concentrations, some individuals may prefer a fragrance-free environment or may have sensitivities. Please inform your therapist of any allergies, asthma, or respiratory concerns prior to your appointment.

Safety & Professional Use

All Maison de Glow equipment, including diffusers, is operated according to UK safety standards and never left unattended during use. Essential oils are used exclusively for atmospheric purposes and are not applied directly to the skin unless part of a specified, insured treatment.

Children, Pets & Shared Spaces

If your appointment takes place in a home, hotel, or corporate setting, please ensure that all individuals in the room are comfortable with light aromatherapy diffusion. Certain essential oils may not be suitable around young children, pregnant individuals, or pets, and your therapist will make any necessary adjustments to ensure safety and comfort.

Important Guidance

By proceeding with your appointment, you acknowledge and consent to Maison de Glow’s optional use of ambient aromatherapy. If at any time during your treatment you wish to discontinue its use, simply let your therapist know — your comfort is our priority.
