MigasBeauty – Facial Treatment Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing MigasBeauty. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before booking your appointment.
Appointments
- A deposit may be required to secure your appointment.
- Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred if sufficient notice is given in line with our cancellation policy.
- Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shorter treatment time or, if necessary, your appointment being rescheduled.
- If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment, and your deposit may be forfeited.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your deposit.
- Failure to attend your appointment without notice (“no-show”) will result in the loss of your deposit and may require full payment in advance for future bookings.
Consultation & Medical Information
Before every treatment, you must complete a consultation form and disclose any relevant information, including:
- Medical conditions
- Allergies
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Current medications
- Skin conditions or infections
- Recent cosmetic procedures
- Recent use of Roaccutane (Isotretinoin)
- Any changes to your health since your previous appointment
Failure to provide accurate information may affect the safety and suitability of your treatment.
Contraindications
For your safety, treatments may be refused or postponed if you have:
- Active cold sores
- Open cuts or wounds
- Sunburn
- Active skin infections
- Contagious skin conditions
- Severe eczema or psoriasis in the treatment area
- Recent facial surgery
- Recent injectable treatments where the recommended waiting period has not passed
- Any medical condition that makes treatment unsuitable
MigasBeauty reserves the right to refuse treatment where it is not considered safe to proceed.
Patch Testing
Where required, a patch test must be completed before treatment.
If a patch test has not been carried out, MigasBeauty reserves the right to postpone or refuse treatment.
Treatment Results
- Every client’s skin is unique, and results will vary.
- No treatment can guarantee specific outcomes.
- A course of treatments may be recommended to achieve the best possible results.
- Following your aftercare advice and maintaining a good home skincare routine is essential.
Treatment-Specific Terms
HydraFacial
- Mild redness following treatment is normal.
- Avoid active skincare products, excessive heat and direct sun exposure for 48 hours.
- Regular treatments are recommended to maintain results.
Dermaplaning
- Dermaplaning removes dead skin cells and vellus (peach fuzz) hair only.
- Hair will not grow back thicker, darker or faster.
- Your skin will be more sensitive following treatment, so SPF should be worn daily.
Microneedling
- Redness, warmth and mild sensitivity are expected for up to 48 hours.
- Mild flaking or dryness may occur during healing.
- Multiple sessions are usually recommended for optimum results.
- Aftercare instructions must be followed carefully to minimise the risk of irritation or infection.
Deep Cleanse Facial
- Mild redness may occur following extractions.
- Temporary purging can occur as congestion clears from the skin.
- Best results are achieved through regular treatments and a consistent skincare routine.
Anti-Ageing Facial
- Results develop over time and improve with consistency.
- Maintenance treatments are recommended to support long-term skin health.
- Individual results will vary depending on skin condition and lifestyle.
Aftercare
Clients agree to follow all aftercare advice provided by MigasBeauty.
Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect your results and increase the likelihood of irritation or sensitivity.
Children & Guests
Only clients receiving treatment may attend appointments unless agreed in advance due to limited seating area in the clinic.
For health and safety reasons, children should not accompany clients to appointments.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of professional beauty treatments:
- No refunds will be given once a treatment has been completed.
- Results vary between individuals, and refunds cannot be issued based on personal expectations.
- If you have any concerns regarding your treatment, please contact us within 48 hours so we can discuss the appropriate course of action.
Right to Refuse Treatment
MigasBeauty reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if:
- It is deemed unsafe.
- A contraindication is present.
- A consultation form has not been completed honestly.
- A client behaves in an abusive, aggressive or inappropriate manner.
Consent
By booking and attending your appointment, you confirm that:
- The information you have provided is true and accurate.
- You understand the treatment you are receiving.
- You have had the opportunity to ask questions before treatment.
- You understand the risks and expected outcomes.
- You agree to follow the recommended aftercare advice.
- You consent to the treatment being carried out.
