To make the most of your appointment and ensure we create a look you love, here are some tips to help you prepare: 1. Gather Inspiration & Preferences Bringing photos, mood boards, or inspiration images is incredibly helpful in understanding your desired makeup style. It also gives me an idea of how much makeup you’re comfortable wearing. Try to find examples on models with a similar skin tone and hair color for a more realistic comparison. Feel free to explore my portfolio on my website or Instagram for inspiration! If you have specific preferences (e.g., soft glam, natural radiance, or bold eyes), let me know so I can tailor the look to you. 2. Wear the Right Outfit & Accessories To help visualise your bridal look more accurately: Wear a light-colored top with a similar neckline to your wedding dress. This helps mimic the overall effect. If you plan to have a spray tan or self-tan for the wedding, consider applying one before the trial to see how the makeup will complement your skin tone. Bring along or wear any accessories you plan to use, such as earrings, hair clips, or a veil, especially if they frame your face. If you’re having your hair styled separately, scheduling your hair trial on the same day as your makeup trial can give you a better idea of the final look. 3. Prep Your Skin & Grooming Your skin’s condition can affect how makeup applies and lasts, so: Stick to your usual skincare routine leading up to the trial to avoid unexpected reactions. If you plan on any facials, peels, or treatments, do them at least a week before to allow your skin time to settle. Keep up with any regular eyebrow grooming or facial hair removal beforehand. If you’re considering any new treatments (e.g., brow lamination, microblading), do them well in advance to allow for adjustments if needed. The skincare used during the trial will be selected based on your skin’s condition that day, but this may change slightly depending on the season and your skin's needs closer to the wedding. If you have sensitive skin, allergies, or specific concerns, please let me know in advance. For any ongoing skin issues, consulting a dermatologist before making changes to your routine is always recommended.
