Objective

Understanding what’s really resonating with your audience is the key to successful content. By diving into your Instagram insights from the last year, it helps reset your content for the year ahead, ensuring you're producing the kind of content that actually converts.

  1. Head to Instagram → Insights

  • Open Instagram

  • Click into your professional dashboard to see your insights

2. Check your top-performing content

  • Filter by “Most Likes” or “Most Views” to see what’s already working

  • Take a deeper dive into when users engaged in your content

  • Note down any obvious patterns

  1. Look at your top-performing content by follows

  • See what type of content brought new faces to your profile

  • Note any patterns on post types - e.g do before/after, tips or reels perform better?

4. Test your learnings

  • Write down 2-3 post ideas to try next based on what your insights have shown you
