After & Before Your Manicure

- Never use your nails to pick anything or use as a tool e.g opening cans etc. - Don’t chew your natural nails. This will weaken the nail bed which may cause your gel to peel. - Avoid hand strenuous activities e.g gardening, washing up, manual labour, aggressive keyboard typing etc. Be mindful when playing instruments, putting your dog lead on, clipping car seats etc. - Keep your exposure to water minimal. Avoid excessive swimming, washing up and baths. Especially in the first few days of having your nails done! - Avoid harsh chemicals e.g bleach and cleaning products. Chemicals will break down components of the gel. - Be mindful of your hormones! Hormones can affect your hair strength, nail and skin. - Once your nails are new and sparkling, don’t chew, pick or flick. - Use cuticle oil or a high quality moisturiser. - Keep your hands as dry as you can. Where gloves as much as you can. - Be mindful when in saunas or using sunbeds. - Don’t leave weeks between your appts! I advise every 2-3 weeks.
