Hello everyone,
I am Beatrix and the story behind why I set up my nail business.
A nail technician who loves helping people feel confident and pampered through beautiful nails. I offer a range of treatments including gel manicures and builder gel/BIAB and simple nail art.
Qualified in December 2025 having done 20 years in Talent Management and Recruitment in Post Production, VFX and Animation living and working in London. Previously ran my own talent and recruitment business successfully for over 10 years which is now paused; sadly the writers and actors strikes in 2022 has globally destroyed the television and movie business primarily in London and Hollywood.
Then NailsbyBeatrix was born.
Prior to that I was a secretary and Executive Assistant.
I completed with Glitterbels, the builder gel and gel polish course followed by the efile course and recently a gel design nail course. I am currently training in acrylic (looking for models!) and will be doing more courses as time goes on.
A newly qualified nail technician who loves helping people feel confident and pampered through beautiful nails.
Whether you are after something simple and natural or looking to add a little bit of creativity or you come in for a quick tidy, a strong and glossy builder gel, or just a bit of time for yourself, you’ll always be greeted with warmth and care.
I absolutely love what I do and so happy to share my journey with you - welcome to NailsbyBeatrix!

I highly recommend NailsbyBeatrix in North Dean. She is absolutely lovely. She creates a calming experience with candle and music and my aubergine nails look stunning. She is recently qualified and as a local resident deserves our support. Very reasonably priced too!

Treat your new nails like jewels, not tools.
Be gentle with your new nails in the first 24 hours.
Avoid intense heat (hot tubs, saunas or long periods in hot water).
Use cuticle oil daily (ideally twice a day). This keeps your nails hydrated and helps prevent lifting or breakage.
Do not pick or peel what is on your nails as this will damage your natural nail underneath. This can also damage your natural nails and can make future sets less durable.
Avoid biting or chewing your nails or cuticles.
Keep nails short or medium length if you use your hands a lot.
Book your next appointment ideally every 2-4 weeks.
