BOTOX (anti-wrinkle injections) aftercare

For the first 4–6 hours:

• Stay upright avoid lying down or bending forward.
• Don’t touch, rub, or massage the treated areas.
• Avoid applying makeup over the treated area.

For the first 24 hours:

• Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, hot tubs, or alcohol.
• Avoid facial treatments, facials, or massages.

You can:

• Gently move your facial muscles (frown, smile, lift eyebrows) this may help the product settle.
• Expect small bumps or redness this is normal and should fade within a few hours.

Results: You’ll start to see improvement in 3–7 days, with full results around 2 weeks. A review or top-up may be needed after 10-14 day.

SKIN BOOSTERS (e.g. Profhilo, Seventy Hyal, etc.) aftercare

Immediately after treatment:

• You may notice small lumps or swelling this usually settles within 24–48 hours.
• Avoid touching or applying makeup to the treated area for 12 hours.

For 24–48 hours:

• Avoid exercise, heat treatments (sauna/steam), and alcohol.
• Stay hydrated drink plenty of water to help the product work effectively.
• Avoid harsh skincare products, exfoliation, or active ingredients (like retinol or acids).

You can:

• Gently cleanse your skin using a mild product.
• Apply SPF daily to protect your results.

Results: Your skin may start to feel more hydrated and plump within a few days, with best results seen after your full course of treatments.

FAT DISSOLVING INJECTIONS aftercare

Immediately after:

• Some redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising is normal.
• Avoid touching or massaging the area unless instructed by your practitioner.

For the first 3–5 days:

• Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, or alcohol.
• Apply a cool compress if needed for comfort (don’t use ice directly on skin).
• Keep hydrated water helps flush out the dissolved fat naturally.

You can:

• Wear loose, comfortable clothing if treated areas are on the body.
• Take paracetamol for mild discomfort (avoid ibuprofen unless advised).

Results: Swelling can last several days. Visible results develop gradually over 3–6 weeks. A course of treatments may be needed for best results.

POLYNUCLEOTIDES aftercare

Immediately after treatment:

• Expect mild redness, small bumps, or slight swelling this usually settles within 24–48 hours.
• Avoid touching or applying makeup for 12 hours.

For 48 hours:

• Avoid exercise, saunas, hot baths, and alcohol.
• Don’t use active skincare products (retinol, acids, exfoliants).
• Avoid facial massages or other facial treatments.

You can:

• Use a gentle cleanser and hydrating products.
• Apply SPF daily and avoid direct sun exposure.

Results: Skin quality gradually improves over the following weeks it may look firmer, brighter, and more hydrated. Best results come after a full treatment course.

MICRONEEDLING aftercare

You must wear SPF daily for at least 3 days after - it is highly recommended that it is incorporated into your daily skin care regime if not already. 

Expect:

• Minor itching
• Hives
• Flaking
• Redness
• Do not pick, squeeze or agitate the skin

Avoid for 24 hours after:

• Make up

Avoid for 2 days after:

• Excessively hot showers, baths, spas or saunas
• Sunbeds
• Intense cardio, exercise or gym regimes
• Fake tanning
• Swimming pools and sea/ocean swimming
• Tattooing 
• Further clinical treatments including but, not limited to: microdermabrasion, laser, intense pulse light and chemical peels

Avoid for 5 days after:

• AHA/BHA skin care 
• Benzoyl peroxide
• Retinoids
• High levels of azelaic acid
• Alcohol including but, not limited to rubbing alcohol, de-natured alcohol and isopropyl alcohol

Avoid for 2 weeks after:

• Dermal fillers
• Botox
