Aftercare

Brush extensions at least once a day using a mascara brush to keep them looking neat and tidy. There is no need to wear mascara with Lash Extensions. Mascara can damage them so please avoid. You may use mascara for bottom lashes but avoid using makeup remover over the eyes and only use specific Lash Shampoo which is designed to be gentle on your extensions. Keep them clean! Always clean them using a specific Lash Shampoo, daily! Your lashes are there to prevent dirt and oils entering the eye. When you wear extensions, dirt, makeup, oil etc can easily build up and when not cleaning consistently and correctly, this could lead to damage to your natural lashes and even eye conditions such as Blepharitis. It’s so important to keep them clean. Lash Shampoo will NOT damage your lashes or make them fall out. It will also help retention making them last longer and look their best. Do NOT skip this step! - If you need Lash Shampoo, I retail kits for £10 which include a shampoo brush and re-useable mascara wand. Please ask if you would like to purchase one. Avoid laying face down on your pillow. Be aware that you may lose more lashes on your “sleeping side”. You may benefit from purchasing a 3d sleep mask if you are a front or side sleeper. These protect the lash extensions from pulling/rubbing. Do not pick or pull your Lash Extensions! This can damage your natural lashes and affect retention. Continued picking etc may also cause permanent damage so please be gentle with them. Remember to book your infill! I am very busy and always recommend booking at least two apps ahead to avoid disappointment. Please do not leave it longer than 3 weeks between infills as you will require much more time and this will be charged Full Set price. 2-3 weeks is the recommended time. The sooner you come back, the fuller and better your lashes will look. Be careful around extreme heat such as hair dryers, ovens, lighters etc as this can cause the lash curl to drop.
