Welcome to Rose Retreat by Liz! I am dedicated to providing professional beauty services in the comfort of your own home. Please review the following policies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience: 1. Appointments Booking & Deposit: A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking. Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been paid. Please pay the deposit within 24 hours of booking to ensure your appointment is confirmed. The deposit is non-refundable. Payment: The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment. Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, or through the booking system. 2. Flat/Apartment Access Lift Accessibility: If you live in a flat or apartment, please check that the lift is working before my arrival. I will not be able to proceed with the service if the lift is out of order. Parking: If parking requires a permit, please ensure it is ready for my arrival. Failure to do so will result in me having to keep your deposit to cover my travel time and fuel costs. 3. Cancellations Cancellation Policy: A 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel within 24 hours, a fee of 50% of your service will apply. 4. Payment & Pricing Payment Methods: I accept payments via cash, bank transfer, mobile payment apps like Stripe. Full payment is required on the day of the service, unless otherwise agreed. Pricing: Prices are subject to change, and any adjustments will be communicated during the booking process. Travel fees for locations outside of the standard service area will be added to your total. Gratuity: Tips are not included but are greatly appreciated. You can tip in cash or via card/mobile payment. 5. Health & Safety Guidelines Allergies/Medical Conditions: Please notify me in advance if you have any allergies, physical issues, disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you experience discomfort or any symptoms during the service, please inform me immediately so that I can adjust or stop the treatment as needed. Hygiene: I follow hygiene and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for all services. All tools and equipment are thoroughly sanitized before and after each use. Right to Refuse Service: I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who behaves inappropriately, appears intoxicated, or whose health condition may negatively affect the results or safety of the service. 6. Under-16s Policy Consent & Supervision: Treatments can only be carried out on individuals under 16 years of age with written consent from a parent or legal guardian. A parent or responsible adult must be present during the treatment. 7. Sensitivity & Allergy Testing New Clients: All new clients are offered a sensitivity test (also called a ‘patch test’) at least 24 hours before the appointment. This is to ensure you have no adverse reactions to the products used during your treatment. Ongoing Clients: Allergy tests are not needed for every appointment. However, a test may be necessary if there are changes to the products used or if a patch test has not been done for 12 months or more. Therapist Discretion: The therapist will review the information provided by the client and will determine if an allergy alert test is needed before proceeding with the treatment. 8. Behaviour Expectations Respectful Conduct: Please ensure that you and anyone in your household maintain respectful behavior during the service. Any abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior will result in the termination of the service, with no refund. Children and Pets: For safety reasons, please ensure that children and pets are supervised during the service. Distractions or interruptions that affect the service will not be tolerated. 9. Social Media and Reviews Review Policy: If you are dissatisfied with my services, please notify me directly so that I have an opportunity to rectify the situation. If you do not give me the chance to address any concerns, I reserve the right to take legal action. Additionally, posting a negative review without allowing me the opportunity to resolve any issues may result in legal costs being charged to you. 10. Gift Cards & Promotions Gift Cards: Gift cards are available for purchase and can be used for services. They are non-refundable and valid for six months from the date of purchase. Promotions: Any promotions or discounts must be mentioned at the time of booking. These cannot be applied to previous appointments or combined with other offers. 11. Privacy & Confidentiality Client Information: Your personal and payment information is kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties. I use your details solely for booking and delivering services. 12. Product Sales & Refunds Products: If you purchase any products during your appointment, they are subject to the manufacturer’s return policy. Opened products cannot be refunded but I will help address any concerns or issues. Service Satisfaction: If you are dissatisfied with the service, please notify me within 48 hours, and I will work to resolve the matter. 13. Weather Conditions & Emergencies Severe Weather: In case of extreme weather conditions, I may need to reschedule your appointment for safety reasons. I will notify you as soon as possible if this happens. Emergencies: If you experience an emergency or need to reschedule last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact me immediately. I will do my best to accommodate your needs. 14. Data Protection & GDPR Compliance Personal Data: In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I am committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information. Personal data collected will include, but is not limited to, your name, contact details, health information (e.g., allergies), and payment information. This data will be used solely for booking, delivering services, and maintaining a relationship with you as a client. Use of Personal Data: Your personal data will be used exclusively for the following purposes: To confirm and provide the services you’ve requested To send appointment reminders or relevant service information To maintain accurate records for health and safety purposes To process payments and handle financial transactions Data Security: I take appropriate measures to ensure your personal data is kept secure, protected from unauthorized access, and stored in accordance with GDPR guidelines. All personal data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties unless required for the delivery of services (e.g., payment processing services). Data Retention: Personal data will be kept for no longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above or as required by law. If you wish to have your data removed from my records or have any concerns about data retention, please contact me directly.
