To ensure the best results and minimise irritation, please follow these pre-treatment guidelines carefully.
By attending your appointment, you confirm that you understand and agree to follow this advice.
Inform your therapist of any medical conditions, allergies, or recent skin treatments prior to your appointment.
Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face if possible, as removing heavy makeup can reduce treatment time.
Avoid sun exposure and sunbeds for several days before your appointment. Use SPF 30 or higher daily in the lead-up to your facial.
Discontinue the use of retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliating products (chemical or physical) for 7 days prior to treatment.
Do not shave, wax, exfoliate, or have peels, laser, or electrolysis treatments in the week before your appointment.
Avoid alcohol on the day of your treatment and for 24 hours beforehand.
Wait at least 14 days after Botox or dermal fillers before having any facial treatment.
Wear comfortable clothing to your appointment, and please remove facial piercings where possible.
After your facial, your skin may experience temporary redness, tightness, or mild irritation. These are normal reactions and typically resolve within 72 hours, depending on your skin’s sensitivity.
A mild tingling or stinging sensation may also occur shortly after treatment and should subside within a few hours.
Each client’s experience is unique—some may notice a delayed onset of these sensations or none at all.
You’ll likely notice an instant glow, smoother texture, and hydrated feel immediately after your facial. With appropriate home care, these results can last one to four weeks.
Please remember that your skin will be more sensitive to sun exposure post-treatment. Avoid direct sunlight and always use broad-spectrum SPF 40–50 daily.
Avoid aggressive exfoliation, waxing, or products containing glycolic acid or retinol (unless recommended) for at least two weeks before and after your facial.
To ensure you get the best results from your treatment and protect your skin during the healing phase, please follow these aftercare guidelines:
Avoid touching your face. If you must, ensure your hands are clean to prevent transferring bacteria.
Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours after your treatment to allow your skin to breathe and recover.
Change your pillowcase and clean your makeup brushes to prevent bacteria from coming into contact with your freshly treated skin.
Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks. If unavoidable, apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50 daily and reapply as needed.
Keep your skin hydrated—use a gentle moisturiser and drink plenty of water throughout the day.
Avoid harsh skincare products (such as retinols, exfoliants, or chemical peels) for at least 5–7 days.
Use lukewarm or cool water when cleansing your face; avoid hot water as it can cause irritation and dryness.
Avoid the gym, saunas, and steam rooms for 24–48 hours post-treatment, as heat and sweat may irritate the skin.
Moisturiser, moisturise, moisturise! Hydrated skin heals faster and maintains your glow.
When planning your treatments, keep upcoming events in mind so you can follow the aftercare correctly and enjoy the best possible results.
