Dermal Filler Aftercare Advice
- Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area to prevent filler migration and infection.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid heat and sun exposure, including saunas, steam rooms, sun beds, and direct heat.
- Avoid intense workouts for 24–48 hours.
- Avoid applying makeup to the treated area for at least 12–24 hours to reduce the risk of infection.
- Apply a cold compress (not freezing) to help reduce swelling.
- Stay well hydrated to achieve the best possible results.
- Do not undergo other facial treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling, laser therapy, microdermabrasion, or permanent makeup for 2 weeks.
Microneedling Aftercare Advice
- Cleanse your skin gently using cool water and a mild, fragrance-free cleanser, then pat dry with a clean towel.
- Stay well hydrated.
- Avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours; if makeup is used after this time, ensure brushes are clean.
- Avoid heat and sweating by skipping hot showers, steam rooms, saunas, and intense workouts for 24–48 hours.
- Sleep on a clean pillowcase.
- Wear sunscreen every day, even if it is not sunny.
- Avoid touching or picking the skin to prevent introducing bacteria to freshly treated skin.
- Mild itchiness and sensitivity may occur for a few days after treatment.
- Do not use active skincare products (such as acids, retinols, or scrubs) for 5 days.
