⭐ FACIAL AFTERCARE
(For buccal massage, sculpting facials, lymphatic facials, dermaplaning, hydrodermabrasion, all skin treatments)
Following your facial massage or skin treatment, your skin and nervous system will continue to respond for several hours. To support the best results, please follow the guidance below. Personalised aftercare will always be provided at the end of your appointment.
General Facial Aftercare
- Drink plenty of water and stay well hydrated for 48 hours to support lymphatic drainage.
- Avoid exfoliation (manual or chemical) for 3 days after your treatment.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure and apply SPF daily — your skin may be more sensitive than usual.
- Avoid active skincare for 48–72 hours (retinol, AHAs/BHAs, strong vitamin C, benzoyl peroxide).
- Avoid heat-based activities for 24 hours (saunas, hot showers, steam rooms, intense exercise).
- Avoid facial waxing, threading or hair removal for 72 hours.
- Try to sleep on your back the night of your treatment to avoid compressing freshly worked tissues.
- If you received buccal massage, avoid chewing gum for the rest of the day.
- Reduce alcohol, caffeine and salty foods for the remainder of the day to support lymphatic flow.
- Listen to your body — facial massage can deeply relax the nervous system; take the rest of the day slow if possible.
If you have any questions or concerns at any time, please reach out — I’m always here to support you.
⭐ BODY MASSAGE AFTERCARE
(For any holistic, relaxation or massage-based treatments)
Massage helps to release muscle tension, stimulate circulation and calm the nervous system. To enhance the benefits and avoid discomfort, please follow the aftercare guidelines below.
General Body Massage Aftercare
- Drink plenty of water throughout the day to help flush out metabolic waste and support circulation.
- Avoid intense exercise for 24 hours, giving your muscles time to settle.
- Avoid hot showers, baths, spas and saunas for 24 hours — heat may increase inflammation in freshly worked tissues.
- Try to rest and keep your schedule light; massage can bring on deep relaxation and temporary tiredness.
- Be mindful of your posture for the remainder of the day.
- Mild soreness or tenderness can occur — this is normal and should ease within 24–48 hours.
- Avoid alcohol immediately after your massage, as it may contribute to dehydration.
- Apply gentle warmth (like a heat pack) the next day for any lingering areas of tightness.
- Continue to breathe deeply and move slowly — honour the shift your body has made.
If discomfort persists or you have questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
⭐ LASH LIFT & TINT AFTERCARE
(Short, clear and essential – clients really need this)
To maintain the longevity and health of your lash lift and tint, please follow the guidelines below.
First 24 Hours
- Keep lashes completely dry — no water, steam, tears or sweating.
- Avoid mascara, eye makeup and cleansers around the eye area.
- Avoid saunas, swimming pools, steamy showers and heat rooms.
- Do not rub, touch or sleep directly on your lashes.
Ongoing Aftercare
- Brush your lashes gently each morning with a clean lash wand.
- Avoid waterproof mascara — it can weaken and dry out the lifted lashes.
- Avoid oil-based products around the eyes to extend your lift and tint longevity.
- Keep the lashes conditioned (I can recommend suitable lash serums).
- Be gentle when cleansing the eye area — no excessive rubbing or friction.
- Try to sleep on your back or side rather than face-down.
Your lash lift should last 6–8 weeks, depending on your lash cycle and aftercare routine.
